Well done Bernie, i had her for a place in the last leg of a multi at Caulfield at her last start............... she ran 4th.

Saw that.

Stable thought she would appreciate the space today.

Ranier, can't find a gap, Winx finds the run.

It looked liked he could've taken it earlier than he did, didn't it. He certainly couldn't use the excuse that he saw the gap, but the gap was going quicker than he was.

yes. he almost *smile* it.

The horse felt his fear, chuckled to herself, quickened her stride and won despite him.

The last time she was placed where she had to steer through heavy traffic that I can remember was the 2015 Epsom?

she's been keeped out of trouble for over 3 years until yesterday.

what a horse.

Is the Sheik a vengeful men? That was ao close to "not doing everything possible to improve a place in running" (bad paraphrase of the racing rule) . Hugh lucky to not be on an enforced holiday.

I think he's pretty forgiving 22.

he watched patiently as Schofield destroyed kementari's whole 4 year old season, if not his entire life,

maybe there something in the Koran about tolerating pea-hearted jockeys getting you a couple of extra young girls at the finish line?

A great weekend of racing easy.

Half a dozen of my favourite horses are running, Egg Tart, D'Argento, Unforgotten, Shoals, Grunt and Humidor.

you should be pretty excited for Sat Tman?

I've looked at the g1 form, and reckon unforgotten and shoals are winners.

like el dorado dreaming in the fillies too.

The Autumn Sun can be used to double multiples

Yes a great weekend of racing,

Shoals will need to be at the top of her game, but i reckon she's up to it.
The Caulfield Stakes, if they all run looks like a Cox Plate field minus Winx.
You'd think The Autumn Sun just wins, it's his first look at Caulfield being the only concern.

A bit concerned with the Autumn Sun's first look at Caulfield, but he's the best horse in the race. Win Multi Smart Melody in the Thousand Guineas, The Autumn Sun in the Guineas and Egg Tart in the Craven Plate Sydney.
And then another one with El Dorado Dreaming in the Thousand Guineas, The Autumn Sun in the Guineas and Egg Tart in the Craven Plate Sydney.

What a Saturday of racing, good luck punters.

If (and it's a big IF) there are any chinks in The Autumn Sun's armour then watch out for the filly to be the one to run him down - took ages to break her maiden but now she has may go on with it. Reckon she would have been favourite to win the Thousand Guineas so interesting that they are keen to take on the boys. The girls have been better than the boys for a while now.

Also like Jungle Cat and Tosen Basil both around the $10 mark each way.

Good punting all!

El dorado dreaming is my bet of the day.

I agree 44, Oohood the only thing can beat him IMO

(hence me being so bullish about el dorado dreaming)

take a look.

this is even more impressive over the mile. nearly gets made into a horse burger 400m out.

Nice turn of foot there ET, also noted Oohood's run in the first clip. Just not convinced Caulfield is the right track for El Dorado as she tends to get back - can be a bit of a leaders paradise but watch the early races carefully.

Oohood has been around Caulfield before so no fears there, reckon great each way bet even against TAS.

Just my 10c worth.
