Re: Main Stage Jack and Dusty's horse

Prestia, Caddy, Miles, McQualter and Conca also have a stake apparently. Came from a long way back. Perfect.

Re: Main Stage Jack and Dusty's horse

Main Stage has 20 listed owners with one being Dustys Boys. Watched that race good bloody win. Pity it aint a stallion.

Absolutely brained them. Might salute on derby day too.
I think Jack is getting married on Derby Day....

WOW, the Everest has taken the world by storm, Racing NSW and the ATC have been knocked off their feet with international horses running in the $10 million race :rofl

http://www.smh.com.au/sport/horseracing/sydneys-10-million-super-sprint-set-to-trump-melbourne-cup-prizemoney-from-october-2017-20170201-gu2vnk.html

Sydney will host Australia's first $10 million horse race at Randwick in October, making it worth nearly two Melbourne Cups in terms of stakes.

The race, to be known as The Everest, will target the best sprinters in the world and be run over 1200m at weight-for-age on October 14.

Im struggling to find clarity in The Spring Form.

Premiership Hangover.

I like Ailizee (hot fav) in 1000 guineas and think the old boy Chatauqua can take the choccies in the Everest.

Any hot tips out there?

I think one of the Williams horses will win race 4, Aloft and Foundry. Seems they need to win to qualify for cups.

Beaten a combined 63 lengths. ;D

Last two, did not finish but first back into the mounting yard. Followed with a crack at Alizee and Happy Clapper. Money on Tosen Stardom and Redzel plus laying of Royal Symphony the place saved the day from being a total disaster. I had also back Johannes Vermeer for the Caulfield Cup so assuming it runs have at least got overs.

Think i might head out to CC this week.

Went to CC yesterday, very tough day at the office. No collects other than Redzel in Sydney. Hopefully turns around quick!

ordinary start to spring. like I said, I'm feeling like the form guide is in mandarin or something.

I usually need an early winner for a good spring. I go well in the CC, so that'll be the last roll of the dice for me.

hope we dont need to back slow horses for 37 years as some kind of penance?

If anyone noticed the smoke on Saturday don't stress. It was just a big burn of punting cash I torched. Ouch.

OK fellas.

The key to a successful spring is to get a pile of bookies money in your safe early on.

Then you drive home the advantage.

For me, early spring ends this Saturday.

Luckily my favourite mare will win.

Foxplay lost a bit of confidence chasing Winx. Thats happened to a lot of good horses.

So Waller, being the shrewd cat he is, has entered Foxplay in a G2 mares race with set weights and modest penalties.

To remind her she is the best mile mare in the country, when Winx isnt around.

Its timely, cause I need reminding that I'm smarter than the filthy bookies.

I got my really excited feeling when I saw her entered in this race. I only get the really excited punting feeling about 5-6 times a year.

She is a class above Silent Sedition and Global Glamour and several classes above the rest of the field.

Foxplay has drawn gate 5. you need a good gate at Caufield. SS and GG are starting from the carpark.

and K.McEvoy has jumped back on board. He is red hot and rode her in the QOT win.

The knock on her is she's dropping back in distance from 1600 to 1400m.

I see this as a plus. When she won the G1 QOT in the Autumn, she dropped back 2000m to 1600m. She runs a very good mile, obviously, but I reckon 1400 is her optimum distance.

Watch her G2 Pharlap win.

Anyway fellas, it'll be my last chance to establish a winning spring position. Cause another key to a successful spring, is if you're putting money in bookies bags, stop.

Foxplay to win the Tristarc on saturday. If you see 4-1, shove the fattest wad of cash you can hold in the bookies' face.

All my remaining spring chips (which go very well with spring lamb and mint sauce) are going to the middle of the table, and hopefully the bookies can suck my arse until summer.

good luck Saturday fellas :fing32

Agree entirely Easy and took the $4.80 offered early openers.

Also like Ventura Storm in the CC - chased the super mare (Winx) home last start but his record beyond 2000m is excellent, has drawn to get a lovely run just off the pace and will be strong to the line. The favourite may get cluttered up on the inside of horses. D Oliver owes me a good ride after a couple of less than impressive efforts on horses I backed lately. Hayes will have him ready, stablemate (Boom Time) likely to go forward and ensure a steady tempo.

Won't be surprised if Burning Front (race 6) puts in a much improved effort - good each way wager.

Good punting all!

NOw we are talking. Good stuff ET. Backed Johannes Vermeer at 38 prior to its run Saturday so will be cheering it on in the CC.

Great stuff ET.

Only query on the Fox - is this just a pipe opener (freshened, back in distance) in prep for main goal the Myer Classic on Derby Day.

Need some Gypsy Jazz and Dyer'ere action on the thread.

Where are you lads!!
