Yep, just held on unlike Kj. Kept me in the positive for the day.

Wayanka certainly made one of me, jumped off last minute. Damian always reminds to stick with your first choice.

Waller's imported stayer Alward won the second last at Flemington vey impressively, one to follow.

Comin' Through, half-brother to Criterion, resumes in R4 at Randwick. Beat some good horses to win the Carbine Club on Derby Day, has a good record first-up and at 1400, and had a brilliant trial last month. Best horse in the race, drawn well, maps well.

Yes the best horse in the race, almost put him in my Multi, the handicapper hasn't missed him.

Won well.

I'm having a cracker today thus far (no doubt just mozzed myself.) only problem they're paying more than my fixed by the time they jump - $3.60 instead of $4.00 on coming through.

Catchy, BHB, flying Artie and Dixie Blossom will round out the day just fine.

Good luck all.

Craig Williams who won on Hartnell weighed in over a kilo heavy. He had weighed out correctly and then changed to a lighter vest so he could make the weight on a horse in the race after Hartnell's.
When he was behind the barriers on Hartnell he realised what he done and was worried that he would weight in light, so he grabbed some farrier equipment, a file, pliers etc and stuffed them done his boots.

I've seen and heard it all now, imagine if he got beat by a nose, there would have been hell to pay.

Why wouldn't he simply change vests after the Hartnell race.

He didn't wont to weigh "in" light.

He had weighed "out" correctly before the Hartnell race, and then before the race he changed to a lighter vest.

That makes no sense

Just prepare for each race as they come and don the correct weight, including wearing the appropriate vest.

Exactly, I don't know what he was thinking.

Good mare Sheidel.

Hopefully this thread over the spring can run like the AFL Betting thread ET!
