Remote Tiger very generously ran a Punters Club on here for many years. It was great fun. I don't know how it worked out profit wise. The proceeds were paid into PRE's bank acct to help with hosting costs but Remote paid for all the bets himself and copped the losses. The funds were greatly appreciated but I suspect overall the club might have run at a loss. There are records of the yearly results on the Thoroughbred thread.

definately an emphasis on honesty and simplicity snake. If we get some more punters (10'd do it), I'll keep track of the roster and live bets. it sounds like we can put winnings in a PRE account.

Lets go order of acceptance for punting. So far the roster looks like this

TGW (punt already done $10 on beany for the RS @ $41)

we might put an arbitary start date of Sat 1 march (streak to punt).

all proceeds to FTF

I think this thing has the best chance of sustaining itself if 1. its easy and 2. we make enough for the FTF to buy jack martin or chad wingard.

Ive already backed beanie for the rs @ $41, so if you see a punt you like streaker, by all means bung a 10'er on it and post the punt.

I think we can concider the PRE punters club reborn.

REMEMBER, you can punt on anything. Black caviar to run a place, a $10 tatts ticket, Christopher Pyne to spontaneously combust. Come to think of it, someone should have $10 with L2R2R on climate change being real. Theres $20 for the FTF right there.

I'd like to participate if the numbers allow.

I have a share in several horses in Canberra , Sydney and Melbourne.

We had a great result at Moonee Valley a week ago first up after 12 months and that bloke goes around at Geelong this Sunday. I'm hoping he delivers me a birthday present!

welcome aboard Bernie. As convenor, Im going to make an executive decision and bump you up the order so you can have $10 on your horse for the FTF this Sunday, if you reckon it'll go alright 2nd up.

The bloke I was referring to is Calibrate, top weight in the last at Geelong on Sunday. Big weight but top jock and we are serious. However, it's probably a stronger field than when he won at the valley.
Also, have a look at our all my loving in the 2000m maiden tomorrow at Kembla.
And as I'm in canberra see the olive branch a non acceptor at Kembla to go around for three in a row at dubbo on Sunday.
