Step Dance showed no interest in racing yesterday and looked as though she was running around in the field for practice !
She finished 7th and needless to say we were very disappointed as a win was not out of the question in an ordinary field and with her previous run.
I haven't been as disappointed since Timmy Fleming was delisted !
That's racing though.

Good win for the Punter's Club by Eastlavy .

The first day of the prestigious Royal Ascot Carnival kicks off tonight peeps.

Cracking night racing with some outstanding horses involved along with the Aussie Star Witness.

13 time Group 1 winning French mare Goldikova clashes with the up & coming Canford Cliffs in the first. Two outstanding milers.

Star Witness is in the 2nd. $6.60 currently available. The pommy sprinters are no good but there is a decent overseas invasion. He's a talented but inconsistent horse. If he puts his best hoof forward is a deinate chance.

Frankel then races in the 3rd. This is the equal highest rated horse in the world (with Black Caviar). Currently $1.40.

Yeah mate should be good. Great carnival. Leysy has great if hazy memories of going there to watch Takeover Target.

Will run around the $1.40 mark I reckon. Not sure Star Witness is up to it though even our cr@p sprinters have done ok over there.

It would want to be up to it. I just put £20 on the nose at 6/1 following Leysy's 'definite chance' tip. Last time I jumped on his tip I did my dough, expecting the luck to change.

With the boys at work watching on BBC online. The sports service is amazing, cricket, tennis racing etc all live online.

Keep any tips coming...particularly if the next one comes in.
