Dow Dow Dow your boat. There is a 3rd Dow
Looks slow when chasing an opponent imoDoes he? Looks slow to me.
But adds value in the contest - holding his place atm easily. Looks like he needs to bulk up lest some of the centre monsters snap him in half but is doing ok in the guts which is the weakest area of the ground for RFC.Looks slow when chasing an opponent imo
I don't necessarily think Dow is super quick??, he does have amazing lateral movement and agility and quick hands & feet almost dancing in and out of traffic.Geeez he’s quick , not quite Boltonesque agility but bloody good, he’s a lock going forward as a replacement for one of the Dynasty mids
Well said after r1Agree. Put Prestia in cotton wool for a couple of weeks. get him cherry ripe again.
Would really like to see Dow get a solid block of games. Could do some wonders for hjis confidence and it could also feed into sustained improved performances.
Definite grain of salt with any of those times , all different preparations and most importantly there’s no football involvedI don't necessarily think Dow is super quick??, he does have amazing lateral movement and agility and quick hands & feet almost dancing in and out of traffic.
As for straight line speed in the 20m sprint he recorded 3.06 sec, which is about average for a midfielder of his size but not elite which is below 3.
Have to admit that unless you use it on game day it can mean very little, for example Jack Ross clocked 2.95 sec but i have seen no sign of it on game day.
Yep, I’ve said this before, why do they test kids on non football related tests? Why test a player on a 20m sprint without a ball in his hand? Make it a 20m sprint with ball in hand and having to bounce it once and with someone chasing him.Definite grain of salt with any of those times , all different preparations and most importantly there’s no football involved
Because, when you're trying to run down an oppo player ... or running flat out to provide an attacking option ... or running to quickly close down space ... you don't have a ball in your hand. Why test a player on a 20m sprint without a ball in his hand?
