I like that team Stu.

Do we nominate the Captain and Vice after the trade period?

Does the Captain stay for the whole season?

Are the Captain and VC interchangable or only in the event of an injury to the captain?

For these answers and more stay tuned to U-2ube. ;D

I have 1 dilemma.

Trade period can't start until Tigermad takes his last 2 picks.

He left a preference list, however everyone on it was taken.

I also have no idea what type of players he requires( position wise).

I also don't know when he will be back.

If someone has the time can they put his team list together, by position. That way if time is taking to long we will get a volunteer to finish and trade if needed for him. I'm sure disco would do this if asked.

Im not 100% but i think TM was updating on SC so perhaps some of his players are in different positions to whats above

thanks for that.

he will definately have to do some delisting.

Sorry Tigermad.

Tigermad when you get back you need to

1. Delist a ruck

2. Delist a forward ( damn I thought it was backs you had enough of)

3. Draft 1 midfielder

4. Draft 3 backs.

Jarrad Waite can play back. - His team post on page 18 shows him as a back.

Here is the team with Waite back

Defenders[9]
3    FISHER, Sam    $534,100.00
12    PFEIFFER, Darren  $94,200.00

25      DELUCA, Fabian        $101,900
28      WHITE, Jessie        $94,200

He needs to

1. Delist a ruck

2. Draft 1 midfielder

3. Draft 2 backs

In order to hasten things I suggest that with TM:

We delist the worst $ ruck - WHITE, Jessie - It is pretty obvoius to me that this is what anyone (without salary cap issues) would do.

He then has 1.5m to select 3 players

The three most expensive players in the postions he needs are:

M (COL) 56. BURNS, Scott $511,400
D (HAW) 98. JACOBS, Danny $469,700
D (COL) 148. WAKELIN, Shane $426,900

That would still leave him with >$100k in the bank for trades later.

The team would then be:

Defenders[9]
3 FISHER, Sam $534,100.00
12 PFEIFFER, Darren $94,200.00
14 O'HAILPIN, Setant $311,700.00

23 GILL, Nick $329,000
27 STOKES, Cameron $83,400

2 SANDILANDS, Aaro $389,500.00
17 GRAHAM, Angus $101,900
25 DELUCA, Fabian $101,900

Looks like a strong line up to me.

Cheers for the effort MAX.

it does seem like an answer, however I want to think on it a bit.

Sorry to all I haven't forgotton about this trade period idea. I just have other issues that I need to deal with at the moment.

I think Tommorrow at 1900 hours will start the trade period to finish at midnight on Monday night.

I will try to get time to figure the rest out. Please be patient.

TRADING DURING THE SEASON

14. A coach can trade for any pool player, however obviously in correct position as per SC.

15. Its a first in first serve thing. It is a requirement to Post the trade on the PRE thread first. The first to post that trade for a player gets to have him.

How does this work? Can you claim a player while a round is in progress i.e. I'm watching the Demons-Hawks and Clark Kent has just picked up 50 touches in the 1st half for the Dees. Can I come on here and claim him in the middle of a game and do I then also nominate the player he is replacing?

No the rule is for your SC trades after round 1.

On SC we all get 20 trades for the year. Use them how you like - HOWEVER- they have to be in the pool of unlisted players we have here who weren't drafted by any of us.

Basically no player can be in 2 teams at once.

Yeah I meant can anyone claim someone during a game for the following week i.e. the first one to post it on this board gets him for the following week?

Edit - Was wondering if a waiver order might have been better? We could wait until Monday and then the team with the worst record could take the first pick out of the pool, 2nd worst get 2nd pick etc... all the way to the 1st team. However, this might require too much work.

Don't forget SC is locked out for the round so any trading will have to be after they process scores - Normally Monday morning...

Not a bad idea - similar to the draft, set times on say a Tuesday evening (or Thursday after teams announced) based on league postions/points after these times open to all until lock out (if you miss your time). Wouldn't be too difficult to set up.

Any chance of posting what the draft pool is?

I like Jimblers idea its not too difficult. You have 5 days after each draft to make a change; 3 per day to time limits.

U2 can you post the rules up again as well?

I think that it unfair to punish the best teams every week.

If it just a first in scenario then it is fair for all. Most changes will be injury based, as just about every half decent player has been selected already. It also is much less administration for the people running it.

Yeah, you're probably right. I was just throwing something out there.
