Just jumped out of my skin reading this. So sad, so terribly sad.

Same here Chiang. I suppose it's a definite as the 21st century goes on....and we kids all get older.

My favourite song:

Hunky Dory was a brilliant album. Featured a young keyboard player by the name of Richard Wakeman.

When I want to hear Bowie as I remember him I play that album along with Ziggy Stardust

Certainly was Sin. Ch-ch-ch-ch-changes.... A lot of his songs are timeless. Now he certainly is a starman waiting in the sky.

RIP David Bowie one of the most significant figures in rock music history. Here's Starman from Top of the Pops:

x2. Terrific effort to keep it hidden by him and those close without tabloids getting a hold.

Think this has been posted before but worth another run:

Bowie surely goes down in the top 3 legends of music. An all timer.

the apocalypse is coming. the stars are falling.

I sometimes giggle on how ironic we can all be with age.

In the early-80s, I was 14 and couldn't wait to get to adulthood (in my 30s) where I'd be married, have a house, a car, a job and kids, and especially to see what this fabulous 21st century was going to be like. Now, 16 years in, I'm nearly 50 and wish I was a kid in the 70s and 80s again......where's the fine line to this? :hihi

They're dropping like flies: Ken Judge dead.

Shiiiiit. What is going on!

RIP Judge. Right on his 58th birthday today. This *smile* cancer's become more viral than a common cold nowadays.

RIP
Condolences to the family. Was ill for many years. On his 58th.

Doesn't all go well for us starting their 50's!

Very good footballer. Your classic half forward!

Glenn Frey, of the Eagles has passed away. 67 y.o.
I think a lot of musos in their late 60s are starting to get very worried lately....
