....

Not really a perspective on what was a tragic and senseless death. Same as happens to so many other families nearly every day of the year.

Sadly, yes. The bully was Cooper Ratten. Must be a nightmare for parents to see their cute little toddlers transform into dangerous teenagers as they grow older.

Great, as if the world is not such a rotten place already, now grief and empathy comes with conditions.
It often does. The grief and empathy you feel for eg a toddler will be different for a 90 yr old. Or a criminal. Or it's different compared with someone you know (or knew of) to someone you'd never met before.

Not really. Still a tragic waste of a life. Let's not pretend the kid was a saint though.

Random terrorism, killing innocent people all around the world. Is it happening more often? Or do we just get more coverage of it now.

Happening everywhere but with the internet, mobile phones to capture these events just brings home the act of terror to us closer Ninjahaha.

So many fanatics. Suppose it seemed pretty safe here until the lindt shop. N thats small change, compared with all the stuff that goes on round the globe.

Today is the ten year anniversary of the passing of Gary Dhurrkay who played for Freo and the Roos. He retired at the age of 25 in 2000, tragically died in a car accident five years later. Was a massive loss for the NT indigenous community. RIP bloke

The Melbourne Cup will have a different feel to it this year. RIP Bart the cups King.
