Nah, that Brady isn't good enough and is too soft. We already have a Hampson!Rancey18 said:Wagner or Moreland for footballing ability, Maxwell or big Brady as project types. Wouldnt even bother with the rest.
Rancey18 said:So down to just 3 with the draft this Wednesday night: Wagner, Moreland and Bradie. Personally I'd like Wagner at Richmond, other two I'm not too fussed about.
Yoey's clearly the standout. Does make you wonder why at 23 he hadn't even been able to crack it for an SANFL gig. Even if they don't win, it does at least give the player some options, it doesn't mean that they can't go into the draft or look at being picked by a state league side. I believe the winner gets put on a rookie B list whatever that is.spook said:Wagner's 190cm apparently. Super quick, great repeat sprint efforts, kicks goals. Seems exactly what we need. Great attitude, super competitive and a quiet leader. I'm a fan.

Read that he had a car crash at 20 that stuffed his back, tore it up for the SA Country side and kicked 8 goals as BOG. Interestingly has mainly played FF. Played for Central Districts this year before coming to Melbourne for the show so he he did make it to SANFL level albeit for a couple of games.CarnTheTiges said:Yoey's clearly the standout. That's interesting, because I thought one of the original criteria for getting onto the show was that you could not have been on an AFL or state league team's list at any point prior to applying, maybe because Yoey only made it onto Central's list just before the show he sneaked in on that basis.tigertim said:Read that he had a car crash at 20 that stuffed his back, tore it up for the SA Country side and kicked 8 goals as BOG. Yeah, I assume so too.CarnTheTiges said:That's interesting, because I thought one of the original criteria for getting onto the show was that you could not have been on an AFL or state league team's list at any point prior to applying, maybe because Yoey only made it onto Central's list just before the show he sneaked in on that basis.
It wasn't just the Burgess link either. They bring out a letter he wrote to himself when he was a kid and promising to play for Port, I'm surprised GCS and GWS even threw their hats in the ring. He was never going to go anywhere else. Wagner was always the best in the competition, be interesting to see if any of the other contestants get looked at and it's already been reported that the Irishman has been offered a rookie contract by Geelong.Rancey18 said:Wagner to Port - always had a feeling Port would be in the box seat due to the Burgess link. Obviously our recruiters didn't see him worthy of recruitment!
