Barnzy, hutchy said on monday the press conference will be on wed but the candidates will be told on Tuesday, once both are told it will get out no way around it....As the new coach will inform his employer which he is obligated to do and in hinkleys case he will say that he didnt get the job, from there it spreads like wild fire, thats fine as we get press "just saw the commercial break" will be in the papers 2moro, also the press conference 2moro at 10.30am, then in the papers again on thursday as to follow up on the press conference itself then come friday its game day tiges V WC, ahh we'll dominate the papers again, well for a few days anyway like when we got the cuz!

Hutchy got that info from Tony Free on sunday....
 
I didnt know who was the best candidate but I like the fact the Tasmanian Dawks are releasing Hardwick, unlike Geelong still wanting Hinkley's services.

Dimma can get straight down to Punt Rd and get his hands dirty.

I don't know, if it had been Hinkley I wouldn't have minded him getting another round of experience in a finals campaign before coming over.
 
It's good that Duddy is out, so that Hawks lose, miss the finals and Hardwick can move to us now.

it's not a leak from the club, both applicants have been told of the decision so of course it's going to filter out to the media.
i posted on Friday that Hardwick was ahead so it shouldn't come as a surprise.
 
Good luck to Dimma. You'll need it fella!!!

Hopefully he can bring across some of the strength, conditioning & fitness staff from his time at Hawthorn & Port.

As well as convince some A grade people to assist him.
