Maybe more.

At least 3 years straight from now + assessing the coach for a new contract from 2013 is better than the Wallace hi-5 straight.

Absolutely, but that is hindsight for you.

No doubt that however comes in ["Hardwick" (Days, 2009)] will have had a large figure to cull in mind. In order for C.C., March and Benny Gale to have all endorsed the appointment, everyone must be on the same page. Surely this is first time in decades that our senior coach, head of football operations, President and C.E.O. have all been in unison. Then if that wasn't amazing enough they also managed to keep it behind closed doors.

Maybe this club has finally turned the corner?

Just need to install anti-K.B. devices around the Punt Rd perimeter and all will be roses.

It's a shame if it's Hardwick. I was really looking forward to using 'Oath and Hinkely's nickname....

Not so much a nickname Baloo, but maybe a mission statement for Hardwick:

"No more softkokks under Hardwick - The New RFC"

(I was happy with 'Oath as well, Baloo! ;D)

Imagine the scenario.

Brendon Gale hands a contract to each of Hardwick & Hinkley, the two remaining candidates.

"Each of you has been given a contract. Take it home tonight. read it and sign it. Tomorrow come back with your signed contracts and find out which one of the two we countersign."

The ultimate Reality TV experience!

This is bloody ridiculous.

What less than 24 hours to go until the big moment, and not a bloody snippet of information

Very unRichmond like

Common what are we paying these bloody journo's for.

Said on SEN a press conference will be held at 2 pm tomorrow. Just caught the end of it so don't have anymore details

Channel 10 news just said the announcement will be tomorrow morning while showing Hinkley....hmmm.

Might be worthy of a seperate thread but I reckon a huge congratulations to the club in playing this process beatifully. Stuck to their guns, were never intimidated by Boysure's tactics and managed to keep this one of the best leakless high visibility long winded decision ever in the AFL.

Wondering where you've been Scooty. Thought you might have gone to ground.

So in the blue corner we have Scooty backing Hinkley and in the Red corner we have Leysy with his money on Hardwick

Ring the bell and come out fighting boys. ;D
