Does anyone know exactly how this kid qualifies as an NGA player? Wonder if it is as much a rort as Quaynor. I see he plays for Oakleigh and I also wonder how Scumwood managed to get arguably the strongest TAC program as its NGA?? And for that matter, Jamarra Ugle-Hagan also plays for Oakleigh but is in the Dogs NGA! WTF?

These NGAs are a load of crap. At the start they had a genuine purpose but now they just seem to be a rort.

The kids are getting drafted as Club Academy players.
99% of them have properly never seen the inside of the club they are tired too.
Scum. But what else would you expect from the AFL.
Sydney apprantly have loaded up on 3rd rounders because they have 2 kids, one rated top 15 and the other top 25 and Sydney will get both with picks in the 30's.
Have we ever had an academy kid?
I know in the late 80's early 90's alot of drafting looked like we took them from Police Academy 3.

This is the worse list management since Carlton did it in the early 90's to secure Williams, Spalding and Rice.
Treloar apprantly will get 250-300k for the next 5 yrs from Collingwood 1.5mil over the 5 years.
Stephenson 0. North bought out his contract 500k over 4yrs.
Phillips 0. Hawthorn bought out his contract 550k over the next 3yrs.

It's unbelievable to think Phillips, Treloar & Stephenson freed up close to 2 mill in the cap yesterday.
I still can't believe it.
2 mill - 300k owing to Treloar.
They can now sign Milocheck at 3yrs @ 600k and Degoey at 2yrs @800k.
And that's exactly what they wanted.
Thanks to North, Footscary & Hawthorn they saved them.

Not sure Posh but that could the case. It's like Quaynor; born in Australia and lived in East Doncaster his whole life but because his dad was born in Ghana he gets to be in the NGA. Load of *smile*.

Tom Browne was on earlier just on Philips. Indicated that his contract was about $350k across 3 years on average. I'd bet that he was probably getting his $500k next year and then reducing down to whatever the balance is $275k for the last 2. Good deal for the Hawks.
