The Grundy Proposition

That's their achilles heel for finals IMO. Cameron has done a good job during the season but ruckman almost become more important in finals.

Nank only got beaten once that I can recall during our whole finals campaigns from 2017-2020 - and that was being pantsed by Grundy in the 18 prelim. He got a mauling that night.

Gawn/Cameron shapes as a pivotal contest on Thursday.
Above all else, Gawn is their key.

Plays well in final quarters too!

They are my tip, unfortunately for the flag.

Hate to admit it. I had a dream !!

Grundy has met with Port. How have Melbourne escaped scrutiny for this duck up? Would’ve thought Karen would’ve been all over a club recruiting an AA ruck on a 4 year contract only to try turn him into a forward, drop him to the VFL, have him met another club that you’re still in finals competition with and is seemingly off at the end of his only season. An absolute disaster of cluster duck proportions.

Because he's going to Cornhole's team. Might watch Footy Classified tonight.

It was reported today that the way his contract is structured if he’s traded by Melbourne they wouldn’t have to pay any of his contract going forward whereas Collingwood would continue to pay around 30%.

Basically his new club would take on Melbourne’s payment of Grundy that’s all.

I would love for the tigers to pick up Grundy but we won’t.

Firstly we have higher priorities but secondly it would be essentially saying our co-captain is redundant.

To me he is what Nank is, a follower/ruckman, but is a better player. (I know, he isn’t a 3 time premiership ruckman)

Looks like he is going to Sydney. He will be an awesome pick up for them imo.
