The Geelong Cants

Cats might need to build an additional office at Kitty Park just to save the umps boss a trip every week.

3 losses in a row. Giants next week and then us both at the velodrome. Do the job Kingsley.

Swans, Cartoon and Bummers after their bye. Could be 8 losses in a row.

It won't take much for the wheels to fall off.
The wheels fell off for us at qtr time against West Coast.
This loss could be Geelongs.
But never week Hawkins beats Selwoods record. And JizzFizz is back

If they lose their chb and starting midfield they might see us down the bottom.....

Glimpse into their future tonight. Going to happen soon, only so long they can keep defying nature.

I just want to know what rule changes do we need to get Geelong back to winning football? Come on AFL, do something!

I always thought their soft early draw has inflated their ladder position. While the media are claiming we are falling off the cliff, no one is looking down the M1. But they will be soon.

I am going to G-Town in 2 weeks for our game. Let’s hope we get a few more back by then and are able to have a real crack at them.

Jeremy Cameron is the only out last night that makes a significant difference, the rest (Hawkins, Duncan, Dangerfield) are all 50% of what they were.

Names only. It's what happened to us the last two years.

Normally in a finals season Richmond winning is just ahead of Geelong loosing but in 2024 there is no competition, Geelong loosing makes me high.

Hey, did you know Geelong lost the free kick count last night?

“CATS’ FREE KICK WOES

The Suns dominated the stats, and one key stat in their favour was free kicks.

By half time, the count was 17-3 in the Gold Coast’s favour and the Suns took full advantage with a run of six goals to close out the first half.

It came just five days after Cats coach Chris Scott’s expansive spiel after umpiring following his side’s narrow loss to Port Adelaide last Friday night.“

And this from another article:

“Free kicks were once again a discussion point for the Cats, particularly after Suns had 17 to their three at half time.

However, despite a long discussion about the state of umpiring after the Port Adelaide loss last week, he said he was not coming down hard on umpires.”

Oh dear, poor Geelong, this really isn’t fair, imagine losing the free kick count 2 weeks running….
