Now it's over. I havent seen today's game, but down in Corio I reckon they will sleeping very very well tonight.
Eagles won of the best teams in defeat I've seen in a long time.Came over to Melbourne, had the crowd and the umpires against then, lost their best player early and still almost won the game.
Don't have a lot of good ball users the WCE, but have a lot of hard contested ball winners and blokes who run hard both ways.

couldn't agree more. did anyone else see Nic Nat late in that last quarter, in the eagles forward line? He was clearly tackled without the ball and they jumped all over his back too. He gestured to the umpire after it happened. A few moments later a collingwood free was paid and the ball was taken away. it really makes you wonder sometimessmasha said:
