Today we should be proud in the knowledge that one day Dusty or Cotchin will win a Brownlow ! Congratulations to both the boys for a stellar year ! Cmon Tigers !!

Is it just me, or is the Brownlow voting becoming more and more predictable each year?

I watched quite a few Collingwood games and I think Heath Shaw, Dale Thomas, Harry O'Brien and Luke Ball all played some outstanding games. It almost looked like Swan and Pendlebury were pencilled in for the 3 and 2 votes before the game even started. It's the same with Carlton games, just give the 3 votes to Judd and 2 votes to Murphy.

How does G Ablett regularly poll 3 votes in games that his team lost by over 50 points? Matthew Boyd is a good player, but he has just about become the only Bulldog who gets votes.

Hawthorn. Mitchell, Franklin or Hodge, three votes. At St Kilda, Dal Santo get all the votes. Then there is Goodes.

These guys are all good players, don't get me wrong but how much of this is just reward for reputation?

I reckon Judd was looking embarassed tonight as he kept hearng his name called out, knowing that he was nowhere near BOG and he was just taking votes off his mates. I reckon Swan felt the same way.

The most pleasing thing from a Richmond supporter point of view is Trent Cotchin polls Brownlow votes in losses, and heavy losses too.

Only a matter of time for the boy. Only a matter of time.

He was a P-plater tonight Bobby. Just getting the feel of the place. ;D

Ch 10 news just showed the Tiger table when Adolf enjoyed reading out Nahas and I'm glad none of the boys were impressed.

Prick.

Cotchin, what a star.

Just in case anyone had forgotten in the previous moment.

Anyhow it's fair to say though that Martyn is an even bigger vote magnet !

All Australian Team by way of Brownlow.........

Scarlett 3 Glass 0 Enright 3

Murphy 4 Reid 1 Davis 4

Pendles 24 Thomas 10 Mitchell 30

Murphy 19 Cloke 13 Swan 34

Milne 5 Franklin 20 Goodes 19

Cox 18 Judd 23 Ablett 23

Boyd 24
Dal Santo 28
Kelly 6
Petrie 11

Big case for Cotchin in that line up. Backs poll terribly which is an indictment on umpires i think.

Milne and Kelly look poor there.

Looking at the Edelsten's two questions come to mind.
1. Does any other couple make you wanna upchuck more?
2. Why the hell does he get an invite?

He's a jerk isn't he? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Geoffrey_Edelsten#Personal_life

I was wondering why the hell they were there too.

Murphy won't win until Judd leaves.
Murphy won't win because he squibs contests and misses more targets than he hits - especially in finals where you find out who the real footballers are.

How did Ablett poll so well? Pretty amazing for a team that won 3 games?
Ablett got 3 votes in a game that GC lost by over a hundred points. Surely someone from the opposition dominated that game more than Ablett.

More proof that the maggots should not vote for such a prestigious award.

He got 3's in losses by 57, 50 and 9 points. Only Nathan Buckley with 4 x 3's in losing sides in 1998 has had more since 1984.

If records were complete, I'm sure they'd show players like Skilton regularly polled 3's in losses.
