Ill let you know how it goes
Like all these 'life coach' fads, the shelf life gets stale pretty quick once it's adopted by the masses. Doesn't take long for 'Staying in the moment' to sound awfully cliche.
I've no doubt the all conquering Tiges of recent times have benefited large from Crowe & Murray's spiel.
The key though is to keep moving forward both in terms of fresh ideas AND personnel.:)

or start learning Counter-Mindfulness Techniques. When you see the opposing team are at peace with themselves, love their team mates and live for the moment, what's the most effective way to rip them out of their Happy place

Heard an interview with Ben Crowe by Virginia Trioli this morning. I knew he had a big role in the mental side of Ash Barty’s game but what I didn’t understand until now was the role Cotch played in introducing the two of them.

When you listen to her talk about her mindset it is straight out of the Tiger 2017 playbook
There’s a lot about Barty that reminds me of Richmond 2017. All she needs to complete it is having Konrad Marshall write about her road to glory.

Yeah agree.

The thing with ben and emmas stuff,

Is its incredibly easy to say and understand.

Really basic stuff - essentially lifes-a-*smile*-then-you-die

But incredible hard to truely implement.

Theyve packaged thousands of year of eastern philosophy, and tailored and it communicated really well to sports people.

Im grateful to them - theyve made the world a better place.

But, yeah, it will go out of fashion.

A side/player will win soon being driven by fear and focussing on the end product

EZY has perfectly explained the type of person Medvedev is.

He could play in an empty stadium and still act like a *smile*.

The crowd had nothing to do with it.

For those who want to see how to handle a hostile crowd go watch the Neymar documentary. His own supporters were calling him a son of a *smile*. Not just a few people but the entire crowd. He didn’t *smile* or moan. He got on with the job and scored that game. That’s how you control the crowd.

Traditional tactics have been always successful. Ahem... "Team mate X has been shagging your missus". Works every time on thick alpha male sportsmen.

A wildly unsubstantiated allegation.

definitely not wildly.

there's a pretty high likelihood, that an old white pentecostal christian,

whose proudly revealed a folio of bigotted veiwpoints,

would be a fair way up the right hand end of the racist spectrum (up towards the blokes with the hoods and the charred crosses)

95% chance, Id guess, +/- 5%

Maybe the next big thing is 'live in the past'? Could be a good innovation. If we can live permenantly in 2018 H&A and 2017, 19 finals I'll be pretty happy.

Yeah Medvedev telling ump to make people like him, saying in pressers that its wrong and disrespectful for people to cheer against him. Maybe there is a reason why nobody likes you Daniel? The fact he is so unaware and petulent is incredible considering the access to good advice that he would have, and its not like he's 19.

He'll hire a PR team to reduce it, shine up his image, but I can't see him changing. Like Novak, he has always been a goose as well but is a good media performer. He has to be, and Medvedev will have to address it, you can't perform at your best being jeered everywhere you go.

yep.

The LNP cabinet doing 'empathy training',

then all resigning immediately en masse and volunteering full-time for friends of the earth and scared heart mission and womens refuges

is the exception to the rule.

you either have the ability to see a situation from a perspective other than your own,

or you dont.

Blokes like Medvedev could have every single person in a randomly selected room full of 1000 people line up, look him in the eye and say

'Daniil, you are a bit of a spoilt *smile*'

and he'd be calculating the odds of randomly selecting 1000 completely wrong people

Surely he's been smacked in the mouth several times through his life?

p.s. I really wish opponents and the media wouldn't use 'passionate' and 'cerebral' as euphemisms for 'acts like a complete *smile*'. I understand they dont want to drop the C-bomb, but I wish they'd use terms like 'petulant', 'controlling', 'bully' or '*smile* head'.

This was vision of him still sulking during the presentation.

So are ours. I heard Wimbledon will let him in too. Making us look stupid now.
Still not allowed to play Indian Wells. Also he can play in Italy, but what happens when he wants to go out for a bite to eat? He won’t be happy about having to live in a bubble.
