Team v Gold Coast

Yze made sure to let eeveryone in the presser know our 5 day break is too big a risk to take.

Dusty is a veteran now. Big drawcard for this game but hardly a surprise really given the tight fixture.
Will be back vs the Blues.
Yep. I'm glad he's out for precaution. Let's just get this Dimma soap opera over and done with.

Id say Cumberland will come in for dusty and kick five and give Dimma a bit of a look, a wink and mumble out "how you doing" :ROFLMAO:

Richmond fans should boycott the game?

And the club should send a reserves team up there to play?

Hmmm, some mighty fine and sensible ideas coming from you lately Binman…….

Just my opinion.

I get annoyed when the AFL screws us and we just sit back and cop it. And we i say "We" i mean the club and the fans. Fans have no say in the game and i am *smiling* fed up with it. Our club doesn't protest enough over our treatment. Perhaps they do say stuff behind closed doors, but it clearly has no affect whatsoever. We hear all the time that the AFL hates us over our alleged antics in 2020. Isn’t it time they moved on? At the end of the day the AFL commission is here to represent the best interests of all 18 clubs (not 17) and treat everyone as fairly as possible. We deserve better.

So yes, playing a reserves team and doing a organised fan boycott would send a message to the AFL that we have had enough of this crap treatment.

If you live in SE QLD, I have no problem with you attending this game. But if you’re travelling up for this…? I hope you have a great day and I hope we get the 4 points, but I really, really wished you had given attending a second thought. A full house at Carrara means we will be travelling up there again for the first game in 2025 and almost certainly another 5 day break. In other words, your attendance is handing the AFL a win on a platter, and it goes against the best interests of the RFC.

You make valid points Ian.

But in case you haven’t realised it’s not about attendances but TV ratings.

Never ever thought id say this, but Id have selected Naismith over Nank against witts.

Witts 208
naynay 206
Nank 199.

I also didnt think id be calling for Cumbo, but hes the most likely to kick dustys 4 goals.

Absolutely spewing i dont get to watch dusty play. Havnt seen him for a couple years up here, and in a footy sense, hes not buying green bananas anymore

How the he'll 6 months off does the afl give Richmond a 5 day break off playing in late 20s hell it's like the afl own gcs and want to give them every opportunity to win,it's amazing that the AFL haven't ordered tiger players to wear elastic bands around their nuts when playing.

I can't remember in the last 7 years Not 1 person has tipping us.
Not 1.
The haters have multipled.
Didn't we kick 10 unanswered goals against Melbourne, but they are top 4 quality beating Carlton without Weitering & Walsh.
Didn't we have Collingwood on the ropes for 35 minutes when we should've been 5 up??

Gc form has been atrocious.

disappointing. This game should have been boycotted by RFC fans. Round 1 (or our first game) should always be Carlton.
It’s a National Game
Need to make Dimma sit down and cop a bit of medicine 💊 don’t you think . 6 goal win will be awesome for us

They would fine us to the shizenhausen if we put out a reserves team. And probably dock us points. And punish us further via the fixture for years to come.

Would be fantastic Stiglitz but I can't see it happening.

The umps will guide them to victory.

This is a 100 % AFL contrived.

A win would be fantastic and could be a massive boost for the season kicking off on the right foot, and to *smile* on Hardwicks parade but I'm not getting my expectations up.

Jimmy Bartel tipped us last night on Footy Classified, but then he knows footy, most of the rest of the "pundits" are just idiots.
