Good selection, mid in, def out. We had one too many defenders & with midfield depleted, need extra troops in there. Mansell has been good but his output has declined last few weeks, especially last week so a run back in the 2s might do him good.

Agreed. The team last week looked unbalanced on paper with 8 defenders, and looked unbalanced in the 1st half until Vlastuin was pushed further up the field. I think its the right decision (though I really like Mansell) in terms of team balance to have Vlastuin back playing that intercept role, as we need Grimes on Cameron.

Aren't our 2s playing in Brisbane on Saturday? I'd imagine the whole squad is up there, or on their way.

I can't imagine there's a rule that says you have to have a ruck in the emergencies, but it makes sense to have one.

I would have gone for Caddy over Ross. I hope they rotate Ross through the middle. He is too slow for the wing.

With Kmac, Naish, Pickett and Hugo in, I can't see Ross spending much time on the wing.

Kmac to go the push on McCluggage like he did last week with Whitfield.

So as he played even though he didn't, he didn't get included as was already in....
