Albo losing his way, a lot of people thought whoever won the last election would get one term regardless of party.

Do you have empathy for anyone other than yourself? You come across as a psychopath.
Do we have to keep apologizing for past events ?. It never happened in the past so it it just a feelgood period where pollies think it will put a halo above their head. I was in my twenties when Thalidomide broke & one did & do now feel for them. Same as the polio period. WA Premier Roger Cook just apologized to past & deceased Aboriginal workers over wages etc etc. Why now when no other Premier did not deem it so.

FFS what's wrong with apologising, a lot of the indigenous workers got no, or very little pay, they were used as slaves.

Libby Mettam the leader of the Liberal Party apologised too.

It is not about how you feel it is about the people who are the victims of whatever is being apologised for. It is about an acknowledgement that as a country we didn't do enough.
I find it amazing that people can't see the difference between individual blame and national responsibility. This attitude started with Howard and his refusal to apologise to indigenous people.
Albo is not to blame for Thalidomide and neither are you or I. However, he is the leader of the country that was responsible and his apology is saying that as a country Australia acknowledges our failures and that we support and hear the victims.
How on earth can this be a bad thing?

Can see in 10 years time PM & Treasurer apologizing tearfully to Australian mortgage holders they did not do enough stop 13 rate rises.

I guess I should stop saying sorry when someone dies. I mean it's not like it was my fault.

Why does it bother you so much? If it helps the people that were affected by this either losing babies, or having babies born with severe disabilities, why wouldn't you want them to get the apology they are after that may help them finally close that chapter of their lives and look forward to their futures?

You sound like such a simple person, your approach to things is alarming at best. Are you employed by Fox News? If not, you should be.

The funny thing about this anti PC war by the right is they are they are the ones that get triggered by everything nowadays. And they don’t see the irony. They are the real snowflakes. Not us "woke" people.

I’m sure there are people out there that appreciates the apology. People like @Tigaman get offended because it has nothing to do with them.

Is he? Seems to be doing a pretty good job to me.

The LNP and RW media are making a habit of turning the blowtoch on the Labor leader when the LNP leader is under performing or there are rumours of a leadership challenge. Classic deflection. And entirely predictable.

Yeah. I think we should stop ANZAC day memorials as well because it’s not like I had anything to do with all those soldiers dying.
What about LGBT parades ?. Also Grand Final pre match parade. Moomba as well Father Xmas parades.

I have come to the conclusion this apologizing era should be called the 'Feel Good Era ". It made up of those people who recognize themselves of lacking morale fibre eg being a member of ones countries defence force , do not play physical contact sports ,attend activist rallies just to be seen thus when it comes to a finale they do not change anything except for feeling good. Most are failures in their chosen academic field & do not get their names in the bright lights years on. Are you one of them ?.

And their English is good, like knowing the difference between moral and morale
