Sydney Stack

I wasn't there so i don't know what happened.

However, i was watching our games over the last month and saw how the media reported on the Tom Lynch "punches". Based on that, i'm guessing the true story here is that, CCJ hi five'd a stranger, so SS did the same, while a big bossomed girl in a low cut top walked past, and one of the 2 said wow!

Even if that is the true story - they still broke the hub at 3am. Thats bad enough. They are 2 blokes who should have been important depth to our flag chances. Now they are both N/A as they will definitely be suspended for the season.

Mr Brightside
So just more gossip. You don't mention CJ but you are prepared to write off Stacky's future because of what you have read in the media.
Give yourself a break.

You talk about, 'another silly and immature mistake that will probably cost him his AFL career', and then 'that he doesn't have the mental strength or discipline to be an AFL footballer'.
Just harmful gossip, unless you are prepared to set out the incidents or mistakes you refer to.

Thanks Taz. At post 4067 Harry was making the same point to the poster above, Althom.
No need for opinion based on gossip unless the poster has the guts to back it up. These boys may be in a lot of trouble and are currently the subject of AFL and media scrutiny. One has come from one side of the tracks, the other from the other side. They both deserve our support.
What I stated was that the club had acknowledged there had been a COVID Protocol breach. That's a fact. It's not gossip or the media.

Yep. And the reason Stack was never drafted are well and truly out there too. There is no "gossip" except for pretty minor details which will just be gravy to the main points. The facts known already are well and truly enough. Unless we find out he broke the curfew to save a strippers life, as he received vital information that the KGB had poisoned her kebab - what good excuse could he possibly have? The dude is toast.

CCJ at least has no priors to his afl story. But even still, this mixed with the rumours of there being interest both ways with him returning to ADL - if true, then lets get a deal done. We were in list strife anyway

You are right it was Stig he was referring to.
The point is the same, relying on gossip to can Stacky is just pathetic.

Sent home
10 games suspended
100k fine for club
See ya later

Breached COVID Protocol? Yes
Club acknowledges this? Yes
No gossip - $75k fine plus the unsuspended part of the fine for Brooke's outing and someone at the club likely to have to be cut due to the cut to the soft cap.
The circumstances of whether they were in the strip club or just went for a kebab are somewhat irrelevant as is the fact that Stack may have gone to CCJ's assistance after he was assaulted.
Doesn't matter what happened.
They breached protocols and it will cost the club heaps.
Given the QLD Government are already demanding the pair be sent back to Melbourne I can't imagine that the club is going to be very well disposed towards the pair and neither should they be.

What we are waiting to hear is how they breached. From the 7 news it appears they were permitted to go and get a takeaway meal.
There have been massive disparities in penalties imposed for this, starting with the Crows. It does matter what happened, so just relax and hopefully in due course we will hear.

Clearly thought it was Schoolies week. Just what we needed before playing for a top 4 spot.Send them straight home Brendan and do not argue the point as the media will thrive on this.

Already in - 10 week suspension, banishment to Victoria.
Haven't heard anything yet on what the fine will be but it would be odd to see it as anything but a $100k fine and a $100k cut to the soft cap.

10 weeks each + $100k fine.

Well done boys, hope the titys and kebabs was well worth it.
