Why are you so sure they were in the strip club? Based on other reports they weren't.
No not based on any one reports
Not a crime to go to a club , but is when you live in the AFL CoVid world

Yeah thats what i thought but i was never gonna take mrB on in an arfument about take away multicultural cuisine ingredients.

Im.pretty sure hes been sold hoodwinked by a hamburger with parsley and yoghurt by a bloke with a beard at 3am.

I think this thread is now the place to recommend a persian joint called Shiraz in downtown surfers. Simply outstanding.
I don't reckon it'd be hard to hoodwink Corn Chips at 3am :mhihi :mhihi

Then again the only reason I don't get hoodwinked at 3am is because I can't last long enough to stay out that late:))

List what ?

You talk about, 'another silly and immature mistake that will probably cost him his AFL career', and then 'that he doesn't have the mental strength or discipline to be an AFL footballer'.
Just harmful gossip, unless you are prepared to set out the incidents or mistakes you refer to.

I think you have quoted the wrong post there mate

Thanks Taz. At post 4067 Harry was making the same point to the poster above, Althom.
No need for opinion based on gossip unless the poster has the guts to back it up. These boys may be in a lot of trouble and are currently the subject of AFL and media scrutiny. One has come from one side of the tracks, the other from the other side. They both deserve our support.

Whats in a mixed kebab i think?

Lamb
Chicken

I'm getting confused now.

Are we talking about an actual kebab, or is it some kind of special maneuver done by the performers at a strip club? My experience from many, many years ago in Patpong Rd in Bangkok would suggest it is the latter...

I have a firm mental picture of the skinny wannabe goldy gangster with pissweak vivid prison neck tatts who took a shot at our CCJ. Finding him though would be a reallife wheres wally? I hope our stackman gave the *smile* a few

I definately will resist creating a mental picture of a bangkok 'mixed kebab'

The memory has stayed with me for years, Easy! I wake up at night screaming into my pillow sometimes as the image burrows through my sleeping consciousness like a cockroach burring into my ear.

I get therapy for it.

Exactly. They stuffed up, big time. They'll get their whack. But we stand by our mates at Richmond, even when they stuff up. Especially then. Send them home, make them pay the fine, and get them back at the start of pre-season repentant and desperate to atone.

We can stand by them, but it doesn't change the reailty that these 2 gooses have chosen to do this at the worst time possible.

2 weeks before finals

At the tale end of months of us copping unwarranted media hell

In a year where the league is relying on players staying in a hub to not lose millions and send clubs bankrupt

In a year when we have the biggest list squeeze in history where many many players on our team are fighting for very limited roles.

I mean these 2 blokes are seriously competing with about 15-20 other blokes on our list to keep their jobs. Incredible.

We can "stand by them" - but realistically they have made a terrible decision for their career and put their teammates and coach under more pressure. Totally let the team, teammates, supporters and club down in a massive way. I got no *smile* to give for them right now

If people wanted to hang Cotchyw wife for a facial, then these 2 have no hope. They are actually payed by the club and the AFL & broke a hub to hit the *smile* and look at naked women dancing. Literally the dumbest thing to do at this time. With Stack its even worse as Dimma has given him way more chances in the seniors than he deserved. His stupidity is dumbfounding

Club is going to cop a $100k fine in a year when we can ill afford it. Do we all think the 2 players should pay it? Many here sure wanted the Cotchins to pay the last one?

Sounds as though the events were not as bad as originally reported, I guess time will tell.

But, they breached hub rules - so Richmond cops the fine and the players cop the suspension, at least till end of this season. Won't help with contract extensions for either of them but I hope they get given another chance once it all blows over.

it’s been well documented his attitude re training in the pre season and the self isolation period . Do I need to put a “IMHO “ that he dosent have the discipline, again common knowledge why he wasn’t drafted and that he hasn’t set the world on fire with his training this year . As I said I like Syd , however like so many he“appears” to struggle with the disciplines of been an AFL
Player , imho

If we can use Stack to get something decent elsewhere i am all for moving on from him. People have been linking Cerra with us all year (not sure why). Maybe we package him up with our first rounder and trade him there? They need a new small fwd problem child with Bennell gone.

I just dont think Stack has the hunger or professionalism to be at Richmond. This is a guy who should have been hungry AF to get in the side after missing out on a premiership medal due to injury last year. Dude isn't even on our seniors list - still meant to be earning that from his rookie spot. All season he has had us scratching our heads over his form etc. To break the hub for that sort of thing at this point of the season shows me more about him than anything on the field ever could - Pass.
