Supercoach Bargain Players ?

Had Goddard, Judd & Ablett. Good gets with Drummond & Chapman though.

Heath Shaw the nuffy is killing me. :p
Looked at both but decided against as they are prone to injury!

Learned my lesson last year

Will have to try and get Judd in somehow

Drummond is a SC machine if he can stay fit. Bloody Lyon has taken the LMID spot from Fisher and given it to Gilbert. He'd be a good get.

Need Cornes and Hodge to find some form. Richo should score well against the dogs.

I've probably missed the Goddard boat now as his price will probably skyrocket. Should have followed my instincts and grabbed him.

*smile* - knew I should have upgradd Bock for Goddard - spewing.

Got 1,409 points so far with only half my players.

Fisher 104
Drummond 164
Houlihan 101
Ablett 300
Judd 119
Rich 112
Lueuberger 75
Capman 160
Skipworth 63
Bradshaw 95
Fevola 116

Had I got Goddard's 175 points I'd be in with a massive chance to win the lot this round

Big players left are -
Richo
Deledio
Hodge
McIntosh
C.Cornes
S.Stevens
Higgins

C'mon boys -lift.

Going nicely Harry, good stuff. I'm having a ripper week too, sitting on 1543 with ten players left. Only two of my players so far have scored less than 100.

So far:
Goddard - 175
Fisher - 104
Houlihan - 101
Hurn - 61

Ablett - 300
Dal Santo - 135
Judd - 119
Rich - 112
Selwood - 101

Cox - 112

Chapman - 160
Skipworth - 63

Still to play: C. Cornes, Mundy, Petrenko. Wells. McIntosh. Deledio, N.G. Brown, Higgins, Krakouer, Ziebell. Still a bit of quality there, so hopefully there are still a few hundreds to come. Really need Wells to lift, he's been horrible so far

As for winning the lot, a mate of mine from work has 1704 with 9 players left. He's gotta be some sort of chance.

Its a high scoring week.

I am sitting on 1550 with 10 players still to play.

Need Foley, Cornes and Mclean to fire and I will have a great week.

Might have to axe Heath Shaw. Looks as though he could be out for a month.

Thought i was in for a good score until today, injuries have devastated me and will be lucky to score 2000. Only have boyd, higgins, foley and lids to play and im sitting on 1692!!!! :-\

2092 with Richo, Deledio and Higgins to go.

2,500 is usually enough to put you up there on the leaderboard but I suspect this week you'd need more.

Yep, will need more than that this week for sure. Wouldn't be surprised to see scores above 2700 this week.

I got burnt a bit today (Mundy and Wells particularly ) but still going well. Sitting on 2132 with Lids, Browny and Higgins to come. Would love to see them go well enough to crack the 2500 mark, would be my best ever score I think, which would be amazing this early in the season. Will be watching tomorrow's game with interest.

Haha, sorry ToO. Worst bit for me is the fact that I've got guys in one of my leagues doing the same to me. There are at least four of them who are over 2250 with 2-3 players left. There'll be some monstrous scores this week. I'm going okay, but won't make up any ground on my league leaders this week.

So far I'm averaging 2171.5 and I'm coming 9th in that league. Some VERY tough opposition :-\

Had a pretty good day yesterday.

Sitting on 2090 with Foley, Riewoldt, Rance, Gilbee and Higgins to play.

Need the tiger boys to have a good day.

Would be happy to see both Gilbee and Higgins ko'd at the first bounce though.

Go Tiges ;D

Very nicely done, Josey. It'll be interesting to know where scores like ours rank in the scheme of things this week. I'm still expecting to see scores of over 2700 with some of the individual player scores this round.

Hopefully I'll find myself close to the top 1000 after this, was lurking around the 2100 mark after two rounds. Also Dreamteam will be interesting, was ranked 790th overall after two rounds, and consistency's the key, could make a nice move there too.

Some good scores getting posted....congrats fellas. :fing32

I feel the key is TRADING.

Knowing when to sell, when to buy, and you need a little bit of luck as well.

Last season I used up my last 2 trades just before the finals (I know, I know, me bad! :-\ )....and had a good enough team to go close, was in the top 200 overall with 4 weeks to go.

And what happens?

Shaw and Didak go out on the *smile* and stack their car.....club suspends them....no trades left.
Season over.

So this season I've taken a different approach....copping a bit of early pain hopefully for some long term gain.

Used only 1 trade up in 2 of my teams....and I think 2 trades in my other team.
Hovering around the 10,000 mark in Supercoach....and about the 5,000 mark in Dreamteam.

Got a few guns who haven't fired as yet too (Pavlich, J.Brown, Deledio, for example) so there is room for improvement still....and hopefully with a swag of trades to use later in the year and a host of rookies with big price rises, I am looking for a second half of the season charge.

We'll see...here's hoping! :)

By the way...any of you use FF-Genie?

I agree totally mate.

Even though I have been scoring ok I am burning through the trades. Have had some rotten luck with injuries.
Had to punt Nick Nat yesterday due to Luenbergers injury. Wanted to keep him for a late season developer. Have got Grant from the dogs and Maguire from the saints who hopefully will kick on later in the year.

I had a good year last year as I was able to have a couple of trades a week in the final six weeks . Going to struggle to do that this year.

What is FF -Genie?

Looking for late season developers at the start of the season's a bit of a strange way to go about it, Josey. Those are the sort of guys that you down-trade your rookies for later in the season to pocket heaps of cash, then you can upgrade your mid range players for stars.

I've already had to use a few trades due to injury this year (Raines, Hentschel and Wells ), and have already cashed in on one of my rookies (Hill for Rance). Used the change I got to bring in Cross for Wells, love Crossy, he's probably the most consistent Super Coach player there is.
