Supercoach Bargain Players ?

2263 points this week, not bad considering Ablett only got 90 odd as captain!

Ooh, close one. In the same boat myself. 2265 this week. Very happy, have moved up to 106th. Hopefully can push up into the top 100 this week.

the Ablett situation makes things more interesting. anyone want to share how many trades they have left? me = 14 and I am going to need them

Even more interesting he is out for at least 3 weeks now

Who will hold onto him? who will panic and get rid of him?

Big decisions ahead.

To answer your question, I have 16 trades in one of my teams.....14 in the other.

14 Trades left, and i think you have hold onto him. Everybody will be in the same position with him only question is do you waste 2 trades and get rid of him this week and then pick him back up in 3 weeks?

Even if he was playing this week....he would have to score over 200 for him to stay at the same price.
So if he is out for 3 weeks, lets say....and when he comes back he will come down in price as well....then maybe trading him out and getting him back in 2 weeks AFTER he is back, might be the go?

Personally, I haven't decided yet but with trades up my sleeve, it sounds tempting.

How do you calculate price changes from weekly scores?

Yep, that's exactly what I'll be doing. Got it all worked out that I'll be able to trade Gaz out, and back in later but in the meantime get in another premium forward and defender with the change.

Admittedly this whole thing will use up six trades, but I would've ended up doing it anyway, just a different way. Will have 9 trades left just on half way with only two players I really need to upgrade (Rance and Ziebell). Pretty comfortable with that really.

As far as Gary's value goes, even if he scores his average (148) in the next two games he plays - which is doubtful coming back from injury) he'll still drop around 60k meaning he'll be far more affordable than he is now. If he happens to score around 100 in either of his first two games back he'll likely drop by over 100k meaning those who don't already have him should be able to swoop.

Why six trades?

Hmmm...15 trades left...$1011100 in the bank...and I've got Richo and Ablett.
I'm averaging 2114.5 per week BTW - not in a bad position.

Think I'll trade him for Davey or Leon Davis, or maybe even Deledio.

HOW MUCH DO YOU HAVE IN THE BANK!

Ablett out this week is one.

Cogs in for Rich = 2.

Premium defender next week for Houlihan = 3 (Good value initially but don't trust him).

Premium Forward next week for Skipworth = 4 (sick of having Walker or Brown come in for him).

Otten out for rookie upon Ablett's return =5 (having spent all my spare coin on upgrades)

Cogs out for Ablett =6.

Will most likely bring in Marc Murphy for Ablett, so when Gaz comes back my mids will be Ablett, Judd, Murphy, Dal Santo, Cross, Selwood.

If I can skip the downgrade of Otten to assist the Ablett trade I will, but very much doubt that will happen. Cogs will go up nicely with games against Brisbane, Port, Essendon and the Bulldogs to come, but not enough to make the difference to a straight swap to Ablett. Any left over after the Otten swap will be a bonus used to upgrade Ziebell or Rance.

I traded Houli and Cousins early for some young guns, hence the extra cash available in the bank.

I just traded Mitchell Brown for Aaron Davey and Dayne Beams for Brad Sewell...I'm still left with $351,700 so yeah...not a bad position at all(13 trades left).
