Still giving us nothing...'cept Cups and Medals

When they reviewed each game robbo spoke with excitement in his voice and in his eyes ,

When it got to our game , he sat there with this blank expression on his face , it was so obvious he doesn’t like us

Poor pwick Robbo.

Must ensure he gets a free drink with the Tigers celebrations in 2018.

Robbo is obviously peeved that as an objective commentator he was seen by others as having a bias in 2017 that precluded him from giving quodos to the Tigers in 2018.

Let’s embrace Robbo in 2018.

Let Robby join in our celebrations.

He can drink the slops from our bar and feel thankful for that.

Have we won something?

What is this cheap editorial Richmond bashing journalism like? http://www.afl.com.au/news/2018-09-19/pies-embrace-the-hype-tigers-fenced-in

"THE WEDNESDAY training sessions of Collingwood and Richmond couldn't have been more contrasting, with one club embracing all the hype associated with a preliminary final and the other going through their paces behind closed gates.

...

Across Olympic Boulevard and the train line, the scene couldn't have been different at the Tigers, with a temporary cyclone fence surrounding the ground to minimise the foot traffic through the players' carpark.

The main session was held without their supporters, as they've done for most of the season, with their brief captain's run on Thursday their designated "open session" for the week.

Richmond supporters will have to wait until Friday night for their big finals party with the club to run a "fan zone" at Punt Road from 5pm with live music, mascots, face painting, food trucks and kids' activities before a march to the MCG behind drummers to precede the big clash."

Wow. I guess the RFC are real *smile-holes for having the open session today and not yesterday. And having a fan zone on Friday night. And Mick's Town Hall light up event last Tuesday. Stingy Richmond *smile-holes. Eddie should get a Order of Australia for his charity!

Yep, fame has gone to our heads.
I see Grimes requests only Blue M&M’s in his dressing room Tuesday nights.

Ahhhh Colonwood. Singin n dancin n carryin on like they've already won the flag. Pity they haven't managed to get past the preliminaries yet.

Too much outside noise at the wrong time of year.
Lynch
Rutten
Dusty
All the *smile* about *smile* Tryhardloar.
Players leaving speculation
Losing players cause we can't afford to keep them etc.

Lost our focus then carried injured players in.

Yep, it hurts.

Pagan was right after all. It felt like a long two weeks and it got us in the end. We fought the game out OK but couldn’t match them when it counted.

Yep just couldn’t get started.

I posted elsewhere that they looked rusty even in the warm up.

Form leading up to finals was patchy. Played our best footy mid season and gradually got less and less convincing even though we kept winning.

Holes started to get picked in our gameplan, and we took our foot off the pedal as finals drew closer and only scraped over the line against inferior opposition. Then we play one final in four weeks.

In hindsight, tonight isn’t that surprising IMO.

Yeah, there was nothing about the buildup that helped, though I would say we looked great against Hawthorn. Not enough footy, Dusty injured (which is a big deal because our midfield depth sucks) and playing against a team that did a great job of pulling apart our long-term deficiencies. And we were outcoached big time. But apart from that... It's a tough comp. Pies were really good.

We need dusty at his best and him being injured killed us

Also that Cox killed us, world record 8 contested marks tonight, and in a prelim, against us.

Must admit, I'm a bit happy with some reviews from the AFL media (Whateley included) virtually saying that we weren't right for the night and was a main reason we lost (bringing up Dusty and Dave many times). Some Scumwood dills calling in feeling upset that we're using excuses, but Whateley, David King, Stephen Quartermain and even Derm last night all implying that we still ARE the better team. Also adding that with Lynch, we'll be flag favourites next season again.

Scumwood and it's supporters (how many bandwagon??) can just GAGF!!!

I heard that too, but they don't mind that were out of contention. Quartermaine even said that we will be even better next year with lynch and it's only crocodile tears today

IDGAF what the experts say. We blew it and I don't need mincey weetley telling me we are the better team coz if we are then I would be looking for a gf ticket. Collingwood are the better team coz they played our game style with more skill and players who know how to find the ball. We will fall further behind if we don't rectify this - you can't sustain being beaten up in hitouts, clearances, possessions and effective f50 entries. We need to be smart and act quickly to fix some glaring weaknesses.
