Steve Morris F/S

love the title of this thread cos it always gives me the brief impression of "Steve Morris FFS".

an apt moniker for such a hard nut.

Said it last year and it's happening again this year, but how long have we wanted a hard little bugger who could play on the small fowards? Morris is the sort of player that I love. He's got some mongrel, but he's also got talent.

Is a crazy man - gee I love him in tiger colours. Brave, confrontational, smothering, in your face crazy.

A favourite of mine, and another solid game

He looked sore in the last quarter, must have copped a knock, any Injury update?

Steve Morris is a bloody ripper. His attack on the footy and the contest is second-to-none. Perhaps he is taking a leaf out of Dimma's playing career?!

He is sensational. He has taken it to a new level. Year one endeavour sensational. That has been maintained and his decision making and delivery has improved.

Suspected he'd be one of those mature-age players who has an immediate impact, then fizzles due to his flaws. Instead he's gone from strength to strength and become a very reliable and effective player. Recruiting doesn't get much better than this.

Thought someone would have had a go at that free against him which resulted in a stat damaging goal.
Is it possible to get his "goals against" statistic modified for that absolute and utter travesty?

A couple of years ago we were crying out for a small defender to take players like Milne, Betts, Ballatyne, Thomas, Dalhaus etc and we have one.

Perfect fit for us, exactly what we needed back there. If the AA selectors were for real they would having a good look at him.

I just wish he would get a hard ball >:D

He was interviewed after the match on radio by Wallet. He threw in a snide little spray of how he trained with the Tigs when he was 16 but Terry didn't pick him up ;D
