No shock his faught himself back into the side in less then 12 months from a reco, his courage and determination has never been questioned. It's hard to remember that scribes were talking off him been an AA back pocket a few years back, then his form plummeted , however imho he was just starting to play decent footy again when he did his ACL

Yes I think people are forgetting this, he was playing like he did early days when he did his knee. The issue is not Morris himself but only having 1 key forward.

Good point, however fact is we don't have a second forward ready to go, Griffiths injured, Elton not up to it, Chol, Moore not ready, we may have to wait to next year to have a good second forward.

Let's not go overboard, he was playing better but from a very low base. If he could play like he did those last 3 games before he did his knee that would be a bonus but a very tough ask for him to be at his best after being out for a year with a knee reco, back playing his first AFL gig against top of the ladder Adelaide in Adelaide.

reckon he'll surprise a few around here, gary ablett snr wouldve struggled under the previous game plan.

a more fast attacking game plan is perfect for morro.

Would rather see Lloyd playing as a second forward then Morris in the side. Lloyd has shown he can take marks and find the goals

The champion data write up of his 2016 season was that he was poor both offensively and defensively. He's also 28 and in his supposedly best season (2013) we were absolutely torched by small forwards in the EF.

I see zero case for his inclusion, his output is at the level of Elton, but Elton's saving grace is that he occasional chops out Nank and Jack's work load.

Pretty much this.
I just can't see the benefit.

Just when I was starting to enjoy footy again with the Tigers winning and Hunt out of the side and they bring Morris back!
I'm assuming Grimes will play on Betts so can only assume they think he can do a job on Cameron.

Had a couple of days of quiet reflection on the Morris selection now, and I still don't get it. :-\

Lloyd is in a similar position to Miles .
Both are natural footballers but are exposed by their lack of pace.

The most frustrating thing is it was obvious including him was dumb decision to everyone but Hardwick and co (bar a few here who agree blindly with everything the club does).

Not only that...they play him forward. Because it worked so well last time :clap
