Steve Morris F/S

Morris is a liability. He must be dropped and his place in the side given to a promising young player.

I don't like potting Morris because he's the first port of call when the team's playing badly. Watched him spoil a couple of times; one where he needed to keep the ball in front of the contest, another where he had two teammates to his left. Both times he managed to spoil the mark, but the ball fell Port's way. Negating players need to be able to do these little things better. Another time he trailed Aaron Young to the contest and elected not to compete in the air. Mark and goal to Port.

Agrees with others, should play in the twos at this stage.

Impey was on one lung and still showed him a merry dance.

He gets lost so easily and the small forwards have a field day on him.

Send him to Adelaide with a pack of Cheezles for pick 147.

He makes it so easy to pot him, though. I can't see why he's continually picked and not put in the 'break glass in case of emergency' case. I still maintain we'd be better going in a man short rather than playing him.

were nursing him to 100 games so we can pick up his children under the father son rule - Hardwick will still be coach as brendon has appointed him coach for life Francis jackson and hartley have taken a DNA sample and believe his children will be elite

Lost what ever respect I had for him last night when Impey kicked his 2nd and Morris hid in amongst fellow players right up until the next bounce and then went to man up Impey again.

Had a lot of goals kicked on him last 2 weeks.

Almost our leading goal scorer

There must be a state inquiry into this bloke.
Who extended his contract?
Why is he still on the list?
Why is he getting games?
The bloke that put him in the leadership group, needs to be named

This bloke proves and show cases our flaws in recruiting and list management.
But this is Richmond

ive read back of this thread and its interesting to note how opinion changed on Steve.

I can almost trace it back to the 2013 EF where he got pantsed. Since then his form ( and the tide of opinion apart from the brightsiders) has been poor overall.

Yep that game exposed quite a few fan favorites.

It also exposed the coach.
As did the port and North debacles.
Anybody whose still not sure about the senior coach only has to review that final against North.
There's your answer.

Can't pick who Morris is on. It's been Puopolo, Cyril and Obrien so far already.

Not an AFL level player will not travel 3 hours to which my beloved tigers while ever he is picked
