I'm not sure what's worse, BF rumour posting or Gen Y sms like butchered english typing on a forum.

:rofl

Keep it coming Tigi - like Streaker, I only read here and am happy to get the info you share, whether it be good or otherwise.

I can't be bothered reading BF either, but I don't mind the rumours being posted here. They're good for a laugh at least.

I just signed up recently to read all the draft goss, think I read all of 20 minutes of it and haven't been back since. Too much crap to sift through. All the relevant goss ends up here anyway.

Agree with the posts above. Don't read BF but enjoy Tigs post from it re. the trade period.

FWIW the Smith appointment to the RFC was first posted on BF so sometimes, someone who posts on there gets one right!

brown would be a good get. very conca like in his movement, composure and short chip kicking.

Can I please see this highlight package?
I've seen West Adelaide on you tube and they are a very crap side and he looked like farmer didn't impress me.
He wore number 38 and looks like Rory hilton!

Zippa he is anything but farmer this guy runs in straight lines, tough as nails, very quick and very skillful, his kicking efficiency this year was at 78.9% and a disposal efficiency of 83.2%.

So whats his negative then?? I know players improve at diff rates and all that but to not even get a rookie spot says he must have had some huge flaws in his game too.
his improvement in a yr seems to be extraordinary. If he is as good as everyone is saying then i wouldn't be surprised if GWS just keep him themselves.

got proven form. made the sanfl team of the year. good move. better than getting someone from the sanfl reserves.

add to your core without giving away too much and add to your guns through the draft.

This is the thing. We have to get out of this thinking mode that if a player has been ignored in the initial drafts that they can't be too much chop. The leading teams in the comp are focusing much more these days on mature age recruits. To me it is non-sensical not to. Some players just aren't ready at 18 or 19yo and don't start shining till later. Some might actually excel in stronger competitions. There are a myriad of reasons a player mightt have been overlooked. We need to get with the times and make sure we focus just as much on meture age as we do on the raw youngsters.

Let's not forget as well that GWS have ALOT of draft picks and the purpose of these draft picks and extra players is to trade them for more mature proven players. So them wanting to trade Morris isn't necessarily a refletion on his abilities, it's exactly the process at work.

apparently tigers didnt lodge paperwork for him to go F/S.
they will now have to trade with GWS to get him.....as they said they would.

Has this been announced yet? as it was a pretty straight forward swap of picks.

Not sure you can announce or sign off on anything officially until trade week starts. Until then it's a gentleman's agreement as I understand.

A Heads of Agreement could probably be signed.

Still nervous.
