Song/Albums that stir the emotions

Megan Washington's version of Paul Kelly's Meet me in the middle of the air.

Absolutely stunning voice.

Mercury and Bowie. Under Pressure acapella. Awesome.

Wow. Thanks for posting that. Never heard it like that before. Just makes you appreciate how good Freddie's voice was.

Richmond, I can hardly express
My mixed emotions and my thoughtlessness
After all, I'm forever in your debt
And Richmond, I will try to express my inner feelings and thankfulness
For showing me the meaning of success

Another Lennon classic from the same album.

Great memories as a kid Phanto.

Sherbet, Skyhooks, AC/DC with Bon, up and coming Aussie bands like Cold Chisel, Aussie Crawl all on Countdown when Molly (half-stoned) didn't need the Akubra.

My sisters bored me with the Bay City Rollers though... ;D

Loved switching back and forth from 1422 3XY to the new FM band at a station called EON-FM from January 1980.

Good times as a young kid listening to 3xy.

Rocktober.

Remember the footy stickers?

3XY rocks Richmond!

Haha my sisters had The Bay City Rollers and they worshipped U2 as well.
My sister Lerissa who is a great artist, painted a banner of the Boy album and got up on stage with it with my other sis LMAO back in the early 80s.
My mum drove me nuts with The Village People odear.

I used to wait till Countdown came on so I could see Baby Please Don't Go by AC/DC.I used to worship that song as a very young tacker.
I got very excited when it came on the tele.

I'm sure there was an earlier clip than this one they used to play on Countdown.
Loved the 70s period of Aussie rock.Skyhooks!

Grew up on this band from the first time I heard Permanent Waves bellowing out of the speakers of Central Station Records (hi Greta!),Princes Bridge station back in 1980.

I bought their '81 release Moving Pictures and their back catalogue and was a fan ever since.
