Cam Wood in 1 game took 7 marks and kicked a goal. Hampy has 20 marks and 1 goal this season 11 games.

Hampy: pick 28/32, Wood: an irrelevant rookie draft pick. Well played Carlton. Poorly played RFC.

Have to agree. There were plenty of better options than Hampson.

At an ave of 1.8.....

But to be fair he's taken 10 marks in his 3 VFL games.......where's Bully and his strident defence of Hampy gone?

20 marks?
Better then what I've expected

Is he a chance to come back in this week vs Cox/NicNat/Lycett?
I have a feeling the match committee are keen on playing him.

Is Cox going to play? I heard mention he was being nudged reluctantly towards retirement.

I bloody hope he doesnt play, TY is starting to look more eagier for the contest playing back up Ruck, he even threw himself a few times at players attempting to tackle last week..

Until he can mark and kick he should not see 1st action again

Have to agree there. Considering the meltdown that picking him in the squad to play Port caused it would be interesting to see the reaction if he actually does play against WCE.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't in last year that we went into our match against the Eagles over there with just Maric and despite them having 80 odd hit outs we still managed to win. Goes to highlight what a meaningless statistic it really is.

Would much prefer that we have a mobile forward line rather than having to carry an extra tall like Hampson in there.

Me too but I think the match committee want to play him. Hope I'm wrong.

Being in the corporate world for many years, id say they promised him games (based on their perceived structure) to get him across, just depends on how big their gonnads are to actually tell him his sh!te.. allot of work in development if he is ever to make a career past his current contract

The difficiency in Maric is there to see, I hope they bring Hampson in to support Maric. mcBean will play as well with a tall subed at half time.
