You're just another 'fly-in' here, hyphen. Don't think you're smart enough to work out who is winding up who. As often the case, I get bored in the off-season so just having some fun.

BTW, that name, links to an old, aristocratic English family? Coat-of-arms? Fine silverware and Royal Doulton on the table at home? Been out for a bit of fox-hunting with the hounds lately? Scored an invite to Harry and Margie's royal wedding yet ... or is it still in the mail? #lolTonyBraxtonHicks

They're not hounds. They're Cesky Fouseks!!

I made my position on gypsy brides perfectly clear the first time this problem came up.

Very relaxed and flowing, UK, much like the streets over there in the wake of that blast of Siberian snowstorm. Enjoy!

Still very warm here in 'balmy' Melbourne with - "Richmond is set to unfurl its premiership flag under a clear sky at the MCG, with the Bureau of Meteorology forecasting a mostly sunny day and a top of 26 degrees on Thursday."

Got my reserved seat, of course.
Now I am jealous! I was lucky enough to spend four great years in Melbourne at the turn of the century but too old to become a permie. Still miss the place, the people and the country but you can't have it all in life. Enjoy your reserved seat where as I will only be able to watch on my TV thanks to my membership. Go Tiges!

The point is pretty simple. Even no doubt very injury marred (same for numerous ruckman - see Naitanui recently - very physically demanding role), Hampson is close to 100 games. Have to thank you for drawing my attention to that. It's an achievement for anyone to reach ... if he gets those two final games. Looks unlikely but who knows.

So you agree? Nothing to do with my own playing career? No doubt it is an achievement to reach 100 games. But that's different to whether he really made it as a footballer. I suspect if it wasn't for the Tigers recruiting him and our great neglect in the ruck area that allowed him to play games that he would have never reached the great heady heights of 100 games in 11 seasons. But hey I am just voicing my opinion, just like butt holes we all have em.

Shaun Hampson may well get to 100 games but that really needs to also be examined how he got the 100 games

He was given 30-40 games at the start of his career in a extremely weak Carlton outfit and was consistently either dropped or injured and hardly played any stand out appearances except that 1 game against Richmond i remember.

I would say that out of 98 games he has played that 30-40 at Max were at a reasonable level, In 2016 when he carried the Ruck for Richmond and played the season he was far from dominant he was OK for what we had and just OK in the ruck but offered nothing around the ground or up foward.

This man is probably one of the most luckiest people on earth
Has the height

Has the Looks
Now He also has the Money

But isnt a footballers A hole

I've already posted a couple of times, Hammer is up against it with his age and back issues. Latest summation from the RFC site on midfielders' form sounds pretty negative:

'A back disc problem has restricted the ruckman significantly this pre-season. He will require ongoing management and a return to playing is unclear. '

Rejoice haters. Looks doubtful he will get to 100 games. Keep the champagne in the fridge, Turk and others.

Don't this anyone here "hates" Hammer, think that's a bit too harsh. Him and his ilk, as shown my the mighty Tigers last year are basically extinct. If Nank went down this year, I'd bring in someone like C Moore to play a more old-style follower role. He could basically half ruck contests, and clean up once the ball hit the ground. We dominated clearances when Grigg was up against Sauce in the GF. The tap ruckman with no real other attributes is dead.

His signing with us also meant the most famous female carlton supporter fell back to Helen D'Amico.

Dunno Balooga, reckon I know another female Carlscum supporter with a hair piece nearly as famous as Helen's. Not nearly as enticing though.

Right? Maybe you should just go back and look at Paddy Ryder's brilliant tap to Robbie Gray for a match-winning goal virtually on the siren in Adelaide against St. Kilda, 10s on the clock. It's on YouTube.

Yep if only Hampson could do that.

Problem is, Port would have been 6 goals down if they had played Hampson instead of Ryder.

Also Hampson would have hit it to the St Kilda bloke running the other way.

I reckon Ryder has a few other tricks up his sleeve than just tapping the ball.

Hehe.

That club will be so much better off without both her and the pokie king.
