I am backing him in to surprise people next year, double ankle reco last pre-season and i'm believing what the spin doctor is telling me that he is primed for his best pre-season ever ;D
Also an improved midfield of Prestia,Caddy,Martin,Cotchin and Miles should be able to capitalize on Hammer's clear ability to get first hands on the ball ,(if not to advantage). Actually clunked a few marks last year and we the fans were shocked  so maybe not all is lost.

I sharee your optimism about RFC but not the hammer, his first use IMO leaves no value as blind freddy can see they go anywhere but not to us.. Even with a career best season it might bring his numbers up from 8 possies per game to 12.... To be honest i actually don't want the pill in his hands!

Another area of frustration is his marking, again i agree it improved but still very poor around the ground and marking.

If Nanny gets through preseason unscathed he would be my first choice purely due to the fact, he can run, mark and kick as opposed to the hammer

Will be interesting to see how it plays out. Whether they play as a combo or just the 1 spot is up for grabs.

I'm another predicting big stuff from the Hamster next season. Will have a breakout year and be in the mix for AA selection

Are you ditching Lennon's lorry for Hammer's holden ? If so you are wasting your time, Hammer will be overtaken by big Nanny pretty early on imo.

I am so hoping that Nankervis is the first ruckman next season. More than happy for Hampson to try and lift/improve his game, but I find his efforts and contributions during matches generally uninspiring (although he is not alone there, as far as I am concerned). Surely Nankervis will be an upgrade on Hampson and Maric.

Darksider. Hater.

The Hammer will explode in 2017. Thor like.

Hampson would be really great if we had a ruck coach that could either teach our mids where to run or teach him where to hit it...

Something needs to be done, because apart from Dusty our midfielders had their worse season with Hampson as number 1 ruck.

Dusty is a chance to go backwards next year if Hammer is not the senior ruck. :p

I'd rather he went forwards, and spend more time along side Jack ;)

I must ask Baloo, is your signature a Michael Jackson quote?

I reckon it's a mondegreen of I try by Macy Gray

Yes, it's what boys were singing when they heard Macy Gray's Try. The real lyrics are My world crumbles when you are not near. But yes, I also thought of Whacko Jacko when I heard them sing it.

Is i just me or does everyone else think of the old Ita Buttrose joke when Thor is mentioned ?
