I thought he played ok tonight.

Some good tap work and actually took some marks.

If he had kicked that easy goal we would have won.

Hammer played to the best of his ability
If you go by that. That was one of his better games

He beat their rucks

Bananas! Grundy kicks the winning goal, Hampson is flapping around like an unco. looking for the ball. He's just rubbish Hampson. Big rubbish.

Got better after a putrid first half but just isn't an AFL footballer. Will play this week and be putrid again.

Absolutely smashed them HO to Advantage was something like 19 to 1. Gave us first use all night and thats why we also smashed them in clearances. Was very good.

He flogged Grundy.

It's a funny game, d55.

He did very well on Mrs Grundy. And yeah, I suppose he did embarrass Grundy for his cowardice all night, giving him at least three don't argues at CBs.

And then Brodie Grundy kicked the winning goal. Playing small.

Hampson was ok.

This can really be a depressing game.

was good...and even battered himself around in the packs.....keep him in the team for next couple of weeks...and give him some bloody kicking practice

If it was I wouldn't watch it, much less moralise, brother.

I think of that as poetry.

And for the first time I see Hampson.

Was good. Aggressive in the ruck and at the contested ball. I much prefer a bloke who consistently wins ruck contests. He has a pretty good leap on him as well. Improved on last week and will continue to improve if Dimma keeps playing him.

Totally agree. Good game tonight and had we won would have been one of the main reasons. Unlike last week his tapwork was excellent for most of the game and gave us some really good first use for the vast majority of the night.

Ps. Grundy is useless, can't believe there were so many on here that wanted us to pick him.

Hampson is reflective of why the RFC is such a mediocre football club.

He was in the system for 7 years 8 years at Carlton and played 60 odd games. Most of them complete rubbish which was clear for all to see.

Oh but no we at the RFC know better. We can turn him into a good footballer. 3 years in and he's still rubbish. Woo hoo he can tap the ball. Big *smile* deal. Anyone who's 203cm can do that. What about his kicking? What about his marking? Basic skills of the game and his rubbish at them. What about his feel for the game? His reading of the play? It's non existent; he has no clue.

Where was he in the last 10 seconds when that other spud Grundy got the ball off the ground and kicked the winning goal? Hampson needed to be the to kill that contest. But he had no clue.

Yet some laud him because he can tap the ball. *smile* me is it any wonder we are mired in mediocrity.
