Great game by Shane last night.
Loved his long kicks to a target also his 6 tackles  yes 6 tackles!
Its better than having McMuffin off the HB.
Well done Shane keep it up. :clap :clap

He's just into his 3rd season?

Tambling's coming good in his fifth. Must persevere for a while yet.

another one who is coming good is jackson and he's in his 6th season. is that a good thing? at richmond they seem to take forever, if at all.

1 very good game against a poor opposition. Well done, but needs to prove himself against a quality opposition and do it regularly.

We will watch on with interest.

He's played too many shockers this season to say he's turned a new leaf. But definitely a step in the right direction. I will reserve judgement for a few weeks yet.

Correct, plays the ocaisional good game & everyone gets excited. If he playes like last night regularly I will get excited.

I am not his biggest fan by any means, but he played well last night. Size is his killer and he isnt quick off the mark.

Two points

1) We played the West Coast last Saturday evening when Shane had his top game - it was boys against boys - lets see how he goes against the relentless tackling men of St Kilda.

2) 3 years ago & 2 years ago and even last year - people on PRE were calling for Jacksons head - now Daniel has blossomed into a very efficient tagger mid-fielder - lets give Edwards a season or 2 more - he has the footy smarts - just needs the size!

Did I see him on Mitch Brown a couple of times? I noticed him going up for spoils and kicking with confidence.

Will be exposed against St Kilda. I hope we don't bring back some old hacks in his place. We must find out where he's at come seasons end.

On one occasion that cost us a goal.
If he's going to play in defence he's got to learn that his job is to stay down.

I was pretty pleased with his game, there's a bit to work with. Showed signs of Tambling from a year or two ago.

Like the fact Rawlings gave him a role at Coburg for a month and then contuinued the same role at AFL, set goals and rules, no confussion. Must play every game now and hopefully have a few bursts in the middle with sucess leading into next year

Gary Ablett Jr took until his 6th season to average more than 16 posessions a game.

Rawlings has already indicated the kids he promoted "may" have done enough to keep them in the team for St.Kilda

*nod* Nice stat

I differ from a lot on PRE is that I don’t see Edward as a battler but a much as a boom or bust type of player. He was attributes that potentially make him very good, but he also has some worrying flaws he has to overcome to fulfil his talent.

Patterson is a battler, Edwards is talented but flawed
