Sam Lloyd

Lloyd can play but looked really slow last night and that attempt on the wing when he went to ground so easily suggests to me that he's not quite there atm. Maybe with a couple more games to adjust to the tempo again might do it but with 6 A-graders to come back in I don't think he'll be there at finals time.

Just a slight exaggeration. Out of the players out only houli and maybe Prestia are a-graders. Rest are role players tgat are replaceable.

Jack G is just about an A grader at the role he plays.

Lloyd's versatility makes him a very handy player, probably not a spot for him in a fully fit side, but he wont let us down if he keeps getting a game.

Additionally... thought he saved our backsides last night. Clutch goal and two massive tackles very late.
Was absolutely huge late in the game. Reckon he's earned another game next week just on those efforts alone. Needs to keep finding that little bit extra to maintain his place in the lead up to the finals though.

Sorry wrong use of words - I meant six players who would be in our A-team before him (Prestia, Butler, Houli, Graham, Broad & Conca) Hope that clarifies

Great bump on Bagely at the end there saved a goal!
yeah, great call.

Really liked Lloydy's game. Not really sure why easytiger hates him so.

The exact type you need in the ressies that can step up and play his role when needed. Not best 22 but another soldier.

He’s definitely capable of playing that midfield role if some of those injured mids don’t get up in time.

We’re lucky to have him.

Yep. Loved that late bump. First defensive move I've seen him do.

Must have missed the two match saving tackles he had last week TF.

Was pretty good again tonight Sammy. Still not sure I can trust him in a final, but he’s a good 23rd man.

Maybe I did, but didn't we thrash the Huns last week?
