Sam Lloyd

Agree. He's a handy back up player but he's not best 22.

But I trust him and want him in the side a hell of a lot more than Menadue and Cellis.

Yep.

No gun but has more versatility than Miles.

I think the leg speed point is spot on Zips. Can't carry those blokes and I think structure wise Sam unfortunately misses out.

I believe he’s picked up a bit of speed this season. I don’t know how it’s calculated but the AFL Tracker has Lloyd covering the greatest distance at high speed for the match. This might say more about his endurance/repeat sprint ability.
To my eye though. His speed and endurance both look like they have improved.

I like Lloyd. I want to see him hold his spot.

TV commentary spoke about a lot of clubs looking at Lloyd. Hope so. This game was a good advert I reckon. Like him - jus want to see him get games also. Has flogged himself to make AFL grade.

Too right. From crafty goal-kicking bush footballer, to AFL standard midfielder. That's a brilliant effort.

Played his usual solid game, can't remember him ever having a shocker. If he's happy to be a depth player, i hope he'd be happy to sign on again.

He is a very good backup - top 26 sort of player in the best team in the comp.

You always know he will kick it when he has a set shot and he is one of the reasons the VFL is on top also.

Bubblying Bryan’s questions to him last night we’re pretty disrespectful I thought - someone has to play his role

Better 2nd half when the pace is off the game. I love the ball in his hands though.

Can’t see him in our finals team but he is thereabouts

Very handy second half. I'm happy to have him in the team.

Deserves another game based in last night.

Was confident when he was kicking for goal.

Has worked hard over the past two seasons to bring another dimension to his game and build his tank.

Others go before him unfortunately.

just watched the last two minutes....his pressure tackles where absolutley vital..keeps his place

Yep good footballer. Was praying they selected him this week.

I don't trust concas body and feel he'll be stiff to miss again. I would be playing Lloyd in front of him.

He's picked up a yard of pace and is skillful enough in a hot contested match like last night.

Good footballer, good fella, great goal kicker, not in our best 22, however can do a job when needed to cover an injury, doesn't hold his spot if Prestia is fit.

Just lacks that yard of pace and strength in the contest. If he had one of these 2 he'd be starting 22.
