What will it take for Frawley to be sacked.

If the only thing keeping him is waiting for Wallace to step up.

Then surely we would be better off with no coach in the meantime.

A senior RFC player gave me his thoughts on Frawley:

"Frawley is an Absolute Moron"

Maybe the players should do a private ballot so that we can get their real feelings about Danny instead of having to listen to 'yes man' Wayne Campbell. Like he would say anything else as captain of the footy club.

Campbell has been a great servant of the club, but where was he when Knights got knifed? He is like Jewell who is happy to see the ship sink and say nothing until it is in his own best interests.

Where do find the money to pay him out and then stump up for a new probably highly expensive coach??
It should have happened last season.It didn't.
So we are better off to find the replacement behind the scenes and go forward with a new coach and hopefully some high quality high picks next season.
 
Sacking Danny midseason will do more harm than good.

The club HAS TO BE SEEN to improving its culture in terms of sacking coaches.

By all means come out and say that Danny will not be reappointed for 2005, but let the guy finish his contract with the dignity he deserves, and the dignity with which he has served the RFC.
 
Once Frawley is sacked, you will see numerous players come out publicly saying their game has improved enormously, with Wallace, Sheedy, Eade, etc etc.
But the truth of the matter is 25 duds on that list should be frog marched out the door, with Frawley on their shoulders!
 
1) Players are duds - Zantuck kicked six goals on the weekend in the reserves. What a ridiculous decision to drop him. Time to wake up and realise the playing list isnt so bad. Its the moron at the help and its well past time that he resigns.

2) Dignity - Frawley took the RFC back to the dark ages. Bartlett saved us from that and deserved to finish his contract but didnt. There can be no comparison between the two.

3) Pay him out - We cant afford to keep him. Will we have any sponsors or members left by seasons end at this rate? How about attendances?

4) Cant comment on who the player is for obvious reasons. He is certainly not alone though. Frawley is an Absolute Moron.

What's the story there. I thought KB saw his contract out but it wasn't renewed?
 
Look if a player/(s) really did have that mentality then well the onus is on them to say something. Im confident that Campbell would have spoken to the players before his statement so they should have spoken up HAD this been true.

for starters KB,s contract did go the full distance and wasnt given a new one.
your comment about a senior player told you this and that. what exactly did he say regarding frawley?

A The playing list is over-rated and zantuck did deserve to be dropped.Check-out his stats...are you suggesting no one gets dropped?
B Bartlett completed his contract.It wasn't renewed.
C Yes we will,they sign deals for seasons not per game.
The attendace on friday was excellent too.
Most people on this board are members.
D If a tree falls in a forest where no one sees it did it really fall?
 
Zantuck did deserve to get dropped, fact
And if Joel Bowden CANNOT understand the coaches instructions and continues to bag him behind his back, its going to be a long cold year for him at Coburg I think.
 
I don't think its fair identifying Bowden as the one bagging Frawley, especially on a public forum.
 
Tigertime, I can't believe you have started this thread. Where have you been the last few weeks. This topic has been done to death. Frawley will coach RFC until the end of the year as he should. Then we make changes. Get a life and get your facts right.

The difference is that I'm not part of the club.....I'm just a fan who is amongst the majority who beleives Frawley is a dud coach.

Anyway is this fact or are you just making it up? Either way its not fair on Bowden by stating that he bags the coach......despite how much you think Bowden is the sole reason we are a rabble.
