What a problem.to have thinking of who to possibly let go for prestia
I can only think of edwards and george ( but dimma seems to not rate marlion as much as we do..

Thanks for your reply. I hadn’t seen that MC statement but it’s more than sensible. Gibcus is an absolute gem. He has been under the hammer from game 1 with key players out injured but has done amazingly well.

I guess with Tarrant also carrying some soreness selectors can rotate them depending on Opposition matchups etc. Come the business end of the season both will be a major part of our defence artillery.

Yes, Melbourne no doubt are flag favourites. They are the real deal. At our best we can more than match any other contenders.

It was a club statement earlier in the year that Gibcus would occasionally be rested.
The match selection committee would make that ruling.
The billion dollar question for me, in terms of success, is how to stop the Dees midfield.
I am not bothered by any other team.

Would be very surprised if they elevate Biggie over Tarrant,

Yes, but I reckon only Vlustuin is needed, gives us a bit more run. Hypothetically speaking if Dimma wanted to keep the same structure then no doubt he'd look to Tarrant.

We play a 7 man backline, Balta, Grimes, Broad, Vlustuin, Rioli, and Baker, the 7th I reckon Edwards can easily play that role and has before.

I'd much prefer we keep our dynamic duo on the wings, Pickett and Macca
