Phew. Hacking up stuff that looks like custard all week. Lucky I've got my trusty spittoon.

Just get it done tonight Swans you duds. End this farce.

Took one look at Carlton's forward line named for this week and decided I will not be watching.

I feel I've got a few credits in the bank where this damn club is concerned.

I sorta hope the bombers prolong the agony another week. Go to Bris with a flicker of hope.

Geez, harden the *smile* up Princess BBpopgun.
You're only playing Wet Coke so you gotta be at least half a chance. If you want to be able to sing n dance when you're winning games or even better, chasing flags ya gotta stand strong enough to wear the *smile* when it comes along. Even after what the Hawks did to your mob last week I'll be at the G to watch us get obliterated by them on Sunday.

You have three very recent flags to fall back on.

I've been wearing s*** for decades, signing up every year, turning up through flogging after flogging (including last Sunday), travelled interstate to support time and again, bought into every false dawn and been heavily let down as many times. Merchandise, memberships, tickets, functions, you name it - in the past year alone, I reckon I've tipped in at least 5k to the joint.

This ain't up to the fans this time around. We've held up our end. I'm sitting this weekend out.

You deserve much better.
Throw all that navy blue trash away, or put in on marketplace, they just take you for granted. They don’t even care you’re there ;)
Come over and join us, we won’t promise you any false dawns or feed you any *smile*. ;)

Injuries have been a big factor, although Curnow has a reputation that exceeds his output for mine.

If you didn't have the injury curse you would finish Top 4 and be in the mix.

Luck plays a significant role in ultimate success.

I get what you're saying, but, for mine, the wheels began to fall off well before this injury crisis hit, even if results suggested we were flying.

Geez, def BBpopgun softcock happening here :)) :))
20 years against 37 years.
We earned our flags run, we didn't buy them.
Did your mob have to go tin rattling in the streets to keep your club alive or was it just another quick phone call to Pratty n another big fund raising open house *smile* up for the gentrified at Raheen with a donation of a room full of pokies off Matho on the side?
Come on BB it's time to pull the finger out n back your mob. What's the old saying again? When the going gets tough old BBpopgun stays home, nah I'm sure that's not right.

Big lack of height in Carlton’s team across the board. You may well have to play McGovern forward I suspect but one area wet toast look ok in is tall forwards in Allan, waterman and Darling.
Will the McGoverns line up on each other?
50/50 game this one imo.

Geez. Why do people always have to be so pedantically correct???
I was trying to go a little easy on poor old mate BBpopgun n trying to convince him it hadn't been such a long long long time in the wilderness n now you've gone and spoiled it all. Poor bloke's struggling a bit in his support for his team n now you've gone n rubbed his nose into exactly how close the Bloosers are getting to matching our old horror streak.
For shame Tommy, have a bit of consideration.

We need the Dismantle Dockers to bottle it and lose both of their remaining games.

yeah 29/37 years. It becomes just

a *smile* long time.

still, as much as I like @BluesBloke,

I hope they dont win a flag this millennium. same applies to Essendon.

im really looking forward to hopefully seeing the first half of the Geelong and Sydney 77 year droughts too

They owe me for a change!

And when the going gets tough, it's convenient this week's game's in Perth.

Longest flag drought in the club's 160-year history - with the 1947-68 drought the previous record. So the current dry spell has had that surpassed by eight years.

Next year it stretches to 30. Yikes.
