Round 22: The Chadstone car park games.

Miers only good in space. Shirks it in the contest. Weak as *smile* every single time.

Pies play our 2019 pressure and forward handball game. I will say they are highly skilled and use the ball well.

Not sure what we are playing, it's kinda lost. Too much bombing, a bit of 2017 but that game style doesn't work nowadays unless you have players pressuring no stop chasing and harassing for 4 quarters which we don't have. In 2019 we dominated with the forward handball game. Too many of our players arent running hard enough. We bomb to a contest far too often from the back half, most of the good sides don't do that they handball their way out of trouble or precession kicking to move the ball up the ground.

Only saw the last 15 or so minutes, geez Collingwood play a good pressure game. Less of a chaos game than we used to play, but quick and always going forward. Some of the passes to players in a better position up forward was very reminiscent of what we used to be capable of. Also, they are good at the low pass, not a looping kick to a stationary player giving the opposition ages to intercept, something we should learn.

In the little I saw of the game I only noticed the umpiring once - centre square, ball is bounced, Dangerfield running towards the ball with one arm twisted behind him as he is being held . . . while pursuing the ball . . . so . . . holding the man maybe? Yeah, nah, 4 incompetent morons can't see it, or maybe they just choose to ignore some of the free kicks they see . . . and pay others that they see. What a mess.

What a disgrace AFL umpiring is.

Basic, fundamental errors time and time again.
That last quarter goal to Jizza was just about the most incompetent adjudication I have seen on a football field. As a Richmond supporter that is really saying something. Close was over the boundary line with the ball. Handballs to Jizza when he is also over the boundary line. Jizza runs onto the field and kicks a goal. That is out of *smile* bounds you *smile* morons!! The field umpire was right there! The boundary umpire was right there! Neither called it. Staggering incompetence and ineptitude by the umpires. Both should be sacked for the rest of the season.

Not to mention the goal Jizza kicked in the 3rd quarter when Jizza marked the ball a metre over the boundary line. That umpire needs to benched for the rest of the year as well. He was standing right there!

The umpiring is a *smile* mess. The more they put on the field the worse it is.

He's simultaneously keeping them in it but costing them the game.
It helps you play better when the umpires decide that boundary line applies to ever other player on the ground except you. *smile* joke.

Pussies win free kick count once again 17 - 10
Anyone know how many frees they got in the last qtr?

A reminder there's now 4 of them.
I honestly think it's bigger than the umpires now.
The plethora of rules in the game is ridiculously hard to police given the current speed of the game.
It's a mess.

Not that hard to determine if the ball is over the boundary line when a player has the ball. Especially when it’s over by a metre. Incompetent morons.

The Umpires are just arrogant little short Man syndrome chip on their shoulder sods. They are controlling momentum when they feel like it. If any other type of employee performed that way they would be performance managed. These Turkey's get no scrutiny so it would be easy to operate dodgy in that environment if you were that way inclined. They call not 15 at times to cause turnover. They call play on early causing turnover. They ignore blatant throws. They are now indefensible and there is now 4 of them. Just shocking...

Arsewipe Chris Scott at his gaslighting best in his presser. Apparently he didn’t see the controversial Jizza goal in the last quarter where Close was standing outside the boundary and hand balled to Jizza, also outside the boundary, who then kicked a goal. Apparently people “who know a lot about footy” (read SHocking) told him it wasn’t out of bounds! Seemed incredulous that a journo would even question it!

As if he didn’t see it. What a lying sack of *smile*. Not sure there has been a more unlikeable figure in the game. By extension he has made Geelong an extremely hateable club.
