Round 21 - the fart from a 15 y.o. dog games.

Bumwood finished 17th last year. 17th. They’re equal top of the ladder in 2022 at round 21. They could go out in straight sets but who gives a f with that sort of improvement !

How on earth anytime thinks that could be “lucky” is beyond me. Fan based myopia in the extreme.

The win/loss column doesn’t have pictures.

They’ve had plenty of luck. And played some good footy. It’s a combination.
But don’t be surprised if they go out in straight sets.
They’ll finish top 2 and win at least one final. At least. You could mount an argument that Geelong and Melbourne (at their 2020 best) are better but Scumwood has all the other teams covered. The rest are ordinary. Plus they’ve beaten most of them already.

Melbourne should release a commemorative DVD when/ if Oliver ever performs a legitimate handball

Red they are playing a cracking brand of footy. But in those 10 games they got away with a few. The Essendon game for example. Essendon with a shot on goal. They nail it and they should have. The game is over. Instead they hit the post. Collingwood nail it after the siren. There is an element of luck for that to happen.
Hawthorn game in the last minute of play.
The Hawthorn player went for goal when Wingard was 5 metres free next to him.
They lost by a goal.
The misses by GC cost them the game too.
Adelaide were leading for large parts of the game too.
This is all beautiful Now, but if they cop a 8 goal loss the doubt will sent in
Bit with every win belief grows and now they are just playing above themselves.
Its now or never for Collingwood.
It they don't fluke a flag this year with a top 4 fixture next year they will struggle to put 3 wins together let alone 10

Apparently they’re “lucky” Scoop.

They may not win this game, I dunno, but regardless they’ve done a good job this year.
As a supporter that’s all you want. Effort, effort, effort. They have the secret sauce right now.

End of the day we should be where Pies are now. We have lost enough close ones to be sitting 2nd
Pies are getting it done when it counts where as the Tiges have been unable to.

Do you really think the Tiges deserve to be 2nd on the ladder?

Did you see the way Collingwood played in the second half of tonight’s game?

Come on.

Collingwood are just like Geelong. We are just waiting for them to fall over. If Victorian teams are top 3, then we need to finish 6th. All finals at the MCG

Smart play by the big wigs at Dollywood.
who do you go and get for your relaunch.
of course go and get the best IP from the last 4 years.
kudos..

Essendumb have called a meeting with the Richmond people they pinched off us.
Asking “why can’t you do that?”

Of course we are not unlucky. Stupid in fact.

Collingwood tonight showed the true worth. To win that many games with that list is extraordinary. But I stand by my comments that they got away with a few wins along the way. It’s not sour gross because I couldn’t give two *smile*. But to suggest there wasn’t an element of luck is arguing for the sake of arguing.
Yeah I'm a numbers man. I'd love to know the numbers, and I'm only guessing, but by the numbers, if you play 10 close games, all things being equal you win 5. If you're a good side you win 6 or 7. If you're a very good side you win 8 or 9, even 9 is a stretch. IMO they are a good side who have had a bit of luck along the way. But who knows they might be a great side and win the flag this year and next. I can see them making the GF if they keep this momentum rolling.

The % column tells a bit more of a story. Again, not diminishing the achievement at all, it's been remarkable. But to say there hasn't been luck involved is a bit silly.

Whether the sauce lasts or not, who knows. Hopefully not. What I do know is, they ain’t a “lucky” club. They’ve gone through the roof under Fly and Leppa and to suggest otherwise is petulant rubbish.

As I’ve said previously, we are seeing the start of a master coach’s career. He will go down as one of the best by the time he is done.

Agree we won't make the 8.
Even last week watch the last 2mins
We gave Brisbane chance's to score.
We don't defend hard enough and our pressure game only lasts in 10 minutes spells.
We are where we deserve to be.
We aren't that good this year

Finals selection and order isn’t based on percentage.

Win-loss column is.
