Round 12 - the Datsun 120Y games.

We do play the bottom 3 teams which is great (swans play 2 of those teams) but we also have to play Carton, Brisbane, Fremantle, Geelong (and Port twice if you're considering them for the Seams) and it's the top teams we've had real trouble beating this year. I can't see us making top 4, once the byes are over there could likely be 5 teams at least 2 games above us. But you always hope.

Statistically, it is better, In the last 11 games, we play top 8 teams 4 times and they play top 8 teams 6 times inc last night v dees.
Our games against the top 8 teams are all here in Melbourne. Carton, Geelong and Brisbane at the G and Freo at marvel.
Swans do have to play freo at Optus and saints at marvel. They play Port whilst still in the hunt at AO after the bye. We play Port again RD21 at AO, by then we'll know if they are still in the hunt or not.

I said it before they started to drop games.
This year's premier will come from the team with the healthiest list in September.
We need Balta Lynch and Lambet stand up for 3 mths, we are still in it.

Losses to Sydney last week and the loss to the Crows especially have really screwed us up.

That loss last week geez

Heard something new in the triple M call in the car, apparently Scott Pendlebury may have played basketball at some point.
I was not aware of that.

He is a real sniper - see that elbow to the head of the hawks player at the base of the pack - Hardwick saw it and remonstrated with him and then d!ckovan tried to con the ump into a free.

Its obvious why our players got stuck into him when we played the pies and I reckon his life as an AFL will be limited - the umps are onto him and so are the players.

A real sniper and a cocky sniper at that.

surely Ginnivan can't last if his only trick is milking frees? For Selwood has other strings to his bow obviously, and Matheison has had a long career in the seconds doing it so he's the benchmark. He's taken it to new levels, but can't see him lasting.
