Round 12 - the Datsun 120Y games.

apparently McCrae will be "seeking clarification" ...

Perhaps he should tell him to actually play the game instead of searching for frees. Every time he gets even the slightest of contact he goes to the ground, it's pathetic and McCrea seems to condone his actions. Umpires made the right calls, it's no different ducking into the oncoming player's stomach and then getting pinged for holding the ball.

Freo remind me of Richmond 2017-2020 in terms of play style.

They do look very good, willing to take on the game when the opposition try and get a run on. Not sure they can win it without having played finals for a long time but the style of play is very effective. Excellent defence and they are willing to run to pressure any opposition with the ball in their forward 50. Their game looks like it would stack up in finals.

All I have wanted to see, first and foremost, from the outset of the year is Melbourne to be denied a back-to-back flag.
Freo wrote the playbook, with a 12 goal to one half of footy.
The Swannies have copied from it.
Open, sparse forward line and rush the ball in before the Dees' defence can regroup.
I hope to see our back-to-back legacy remain intact.

Exactly what I want too.
