We agree on this TBR. I like watching them play and was happy to see them win last year after we were out. They are a genuine hard at it side with some real stars. Remind me of us. I want us to stay fit and see if we can dethrone them.

Richmond supporters hating on Melbourne is not extraordinary. In fact I'd say its ordinary. Or is it me taking the crazy pills?
Only round 1, but Melbourne look like continuing their form and being the side to beat. The reason is they have 3 of the top 10 players in the comp, good supporting cast sure, but thats it. In the medium to longer term, baring dodgey deals, they cant keep Petracca and Oliver under the cap (remembering they have to keep Gawn).

Needs to be fined. This sort of abuse of AFL Journos has to be stopped.
Who would want to ba an AFL journo if you have to cop that every week?
If this continues, we'll end up with a shortage of journos at the grass roots level.

Well, we won 3 out of 4 years, every other side is going to look at what we were doing right. Melbourne certainly took the lesson of massive pressure, you could see it tonigt with Footscray players fumbling when not under pressure, not unlike Geelong in the 2017 QF. They also set up behind the ball very well, as we have done. As I said, why wouldn't you pull apart the game of a team with 3 flags in the bank, clearly something there works.
Melbourne's precision kicking though is another thing, we weren't as good at that aspect.
Just hope we can find a way past them.
Still don't have to like them, bunch of entitled toffs.

Was Morris the one who rattled Bevo last year about Ugle-Hagan's debut......or was it Tom Browne?
His insinuation, rightly or wrongly, seemed to be that as a Melbourne fan, he (Morris), was constantly using his position as an AFL journo to undermine the Dogs whenever playing against Melbourne.
If Bevo carries on like this, I reckon they're gone this season. Clarko might have a team available next season.
I don’t like their supporters but I like the way they play. I didn’t like it a few years ago m, they got way ahead of themselves, but they are very similar to the tigers now. Some genuine stars and lots of role players.
The denigration of their football surprises me. It shouldn’t, match day threads are full of nuffie crap but I don’t get the hate for their football.
