Robin Nahas

We seem to be preferring experience at this stage over youth (Nahas over Donut and McGuane over Beanbag).

Ironically, we don't seem to have learnt from prior experience.

In the games he's played this year Nahas has looked disinterested, like his fate has been sealed. Lets hope he knows he is playing for a career (whether at RFC or elsewhere) and performs accordingly.

It's the Nahas farewell game at the G tomorrow. #getaroundhim

I think it's to try and give him some value for trade.

Too little too late I say.

Poor Aaron Edwards, McBean, Lonegran, McDonough

Nahas named at CHF !! GO ROBBIE !

Good luck Nahas deserved your call up re form for Coburg. Hope you play well and give us another option coming into the finals. Any player who pulls on a jumper for our beloved tigers deserves our support. Go tiges

he has had a poor year by recent standards but is still a handy 23 to 40 listed player. May have some currency but of the last two decade list clogers his is not the worst player we have had in recent times. If no suitable trade is found, Im not pulling my hair out at season end if he stays. Just love to see him do more of the team orientated things again and stop trying to kick goal of the year. Look up, lower his eyes and despite his small use his frame to lay tackles and do the 1%'s..... Many had JAckson, McGuane and White gone in recent years but they have shown you can turn things around.

you dont kick 97 AFL goals if you cant play!!!

Not sure he's had a poor year, his Coburg form has been great. He is simply a casualty of great depth

Look, I don't dislike Nakas by any means but he's not part of the future. Depth wise we'd be better off putting games into McDonough and O'Hanlon. Especially McDonough.

And we have Chris Knights to come back next season as well. Can't play them all.

Always capable of getting 25 touches at AFL, he's 5 games (some have been as a sub) have been poor

2013 - 5 games - 24 kicks - 14 HB 7.6 Ave disposal per game. Kicked 3.1 . Not shocking but quite down on 2011 2012 output

I share these sentiments, taraba. Nahas has made some useful contributions on occasions, yet with no disrespect intended, I would like to think that the contending Tigers of 2015 aren't reliant on his types in its best 22.

As I said, no disrespect to Nahas for he is a far better footballer than I could ever have been ... it's just that the Tigers are now developing in such a way that what the Nahas-type player offers the team is no longer as significant as it might have once been.

Spot on

Its not nahas who is failing, rather than were improving and he is getting older. If this does turn out to be his last game we can still thank him for his input over the years. Not the worst for a rookie pick who is built like a stick figure.

Good luck to him

I can

Has got plenty of the ball but his disposal an decision making has been poor. Reckon he'll be sub so probably won't get much opportunity.

The 2 games I've had the privilege of watching coburg, he has been the stand out player alongside Mcbean
But still, against Brisbane on a freezing cold Sateday at the G.
TRY A KID

I hope Robbie can turn it around. 30+ goals a year small forwards are hard to come by and it's a position we,ve gone backwards in this year after last years success (with King & Nahas).

Better goal average in games outside Victoria than Stephen Milne, Travis Cloke & Nick Riewoldt, not to mention the $600,000 man Eddie Betts. Put together 47 games on the trot to round 1 this year. As others have said, a victim of our improved depth.

It's not the Brisbane's though we need our small forwards to shine. Unfortunately that was the problem for Nahas last year. Almost all of his goals were against poor opposition and many were junk time. Personally if we were going to paly him would have preferred to see how he fared against a Hawks or Swans, not Brisbane as even if he plays well, it won't really prove anything. Regardless hope he does make the most of his opportunities as I really enjoyed his style of play when he first came onto the scene.

Agree and hope he kicks three

in great form at coburg, but even 5 goals and 30 possessions will still see him dropped next week if King and Edwards are fit

Good luck to Robbie today. Is a vital game for him. Needs a blinder to be able to keep his place for the last 3 rounds as both Titch and Kingy will be back. Could well be his last game for the Tige's, as if it is just a so-so game, he will be back at Coburg and will want trade come year's end (if he is not moved on by RFC) as he won't want to be a perennial VFL Player.

just in today to increase his trade value...

In all seriousness, good luck to him, hopefully he shows that he is a capable small forward...
