Robin Nahas

When Ellis went out for Robbie I was so deflated. No surprises from me he struggled.

Surely now the farce is at an end. Would rather try young McDonough.
I'd rather try anyone than Nahas at present. Just has no presence on the ground whatsoever.

Shouldve been moved on last year.

Poor skill, no poise, weak overhead, and weak in the contests.

Never been a fan and never will be.

Must be moved on at seasons end.

Agree with the majority of posts... his time has come and gone. Too much fumbling, going to ground and lack of poise = Unworthy of a place in the starting line up!

It's really crunch time for Robin. Been in and out this season. If/when he gets another chance he's really going to need to turn this around or he'll be traded or delisted. I think there was word GWS were keen on him last year. His stock has plummeted.

Its going to be a long way back now - can't see it happening unless something drastic happens.

Most likely played his last game for mine.
Yep. Be shocked if he plays again. Was always limited as a player but he has lost his hard running. Without it, these limitations are magnified. Disinterested, cant kick any distance and cant stick a tackle. Was absolutely terrible last week.
Sad end. He is playing like he is already gone.

Goneski. Cost us 3 goals and has gone backwards this year. Will be the 1st delisted along side Derrickx on October 30

I reckon give Derickx time. Could be the next Cox...

:rofl

Agree with Nahas being dropped. But I can see him coming in for King at some stage. Before I get slammed for saying this I don't think King will play every game based on past seasons.

Finito! I can't see him coming back. Struggling big time with the intensity. Has been given ample chances this year and if he was going to get another chance, with Knights out, this was it. He would have to have a massive turnaround of form to see him again.

I agree with Oldster that we put the story about that Rockin had an offer from interstate.

Nobody bit and now Beavis says he's not in our best 26. Robin has slid a bit coz we're already at 26 and he's dropped.

However Nahas supports the idea put forward by many posters that we need more pace/bite. I prefer to call what Nahas offers "nip" because he's not really quick over even ten metres.

He *smile* up plenny last week but he was in a lot because we set up for his bite. The come from nowhere brisk ball gather that should be followed by an ambush line break.

We need bite. If Axel can run back into last year's form we'll get it. I won't mind if Robin Nahas plays again this year. He gave what he had; let's salute him when the time comes.

He'll be back our non depth makes it a nigh on certainty.

Hmmm! Non depth?
Tuck, Conca, Ellis, Knights out of the midfield. Thats your core second string to go behind Cotch, Lids, Martin, n a fit Axle. No surprise we've been relegated to the third string in Vlastuin, Nahas, King n Morris and been ordinary for it.
Throw in a half Maric plus Grimes n Petterd off half back injured and any clubs depth would be getting tested.

Lucky for us we have the big ferocious ranga having a damn good season.

He wouldn't have got a game on the weekend if one Conca, Grimes, Petterd, Ellis etc. were available. We were seriously undersized on Saturday -bigger blokes than Nahas were getting humiliated repeatedly. Of course if we weren't seriously depleted, Nahas wouldn't look so bad. The issue for poor Robin is that his form this year has made it very unlikely that he will ever find himself the 21st or 22nd bloke picked in the event we get our side on the park.

Yes - that's called non-depth - when you have to play duds like Nahas because you lack the real depth to adequately cover your injuries. All those players you named as outs were first 22. Good depth means you have enough second stringers that can do a fair enough job.

We haven't even had do go that deep yet - apart from our first round pick, it's not as though we've been forced to play any new kids. Though it's becoming increasingly evident that perhaps we're going to have to start doing so given the poor quality of our more "experienced" back-up players.

Nahas probably won't play again. After the break Conca and Ellis will return and a few weeks after that Tucky will be back so our midfield will resume some normality again. This week against the eagles will probably be very ugly like against essendon unless Lids, Cotch and Martin all fire together...
