Funny this is he's always been this good.
;D one of your better posts Barnzy

thought he was handy early, when the game was won. wasnt much good late. his position will be looked at i reckon.

A Edwards should get a run but Nahas is a handy squad player ! He was second on our goal kicking last year!
I believe his forward pressure is good and he can kick a goal. We definitely need him as a back up for King!

Nahas is one of those players that needs to be moved on if we are to go from a middle rung side to a top side.

Not up to it.

Nahas is fast becoming my least favourite tiger.
It's not really through any fault of his own, he tries hard, I'm just yet to see his value. He's not tall, he's not strong, he's not hard, he's one sided (and even on that side he can kick a maximum of forty metres), and he's not even quick. I don't remember the last time he burnt someone with pace. Those little legs fly around, but he doesn't really go anywhere. If you're going to be a weak, short forward, then you have to be fast and highly skilled. He's none of those things.
If the other side is lax about marking up, he does get into dangerous positions. But that's about it.
Time to find a replacement. I'd prefer A. Edwardes, because, even if he is limited, he at least has some value.

I agree he's now a fringe player and looks to me to be on the way out, but you're being over the top and sinking the boots in. He is quick and evasive, and he's definately not weak.

Sorry bud, his not quick. He is the slowest small in the comp..

I dunno his sprint times, what he is is evasive, thats why he's carved out 70 odd games. Why do people need to bloody overstate the *smile* out of everything, he's not quite up to it, therefore he's a total bum and whoever recruited him should be sacked right?.

Don't think he ever had much value olden did he?

Probably did at the end of last season. Plenty here rated him, perhaps not the pro recruiters.
Some even talked of a trade for Tyson but personally though he got a lot of cheap goals last season and he is a very limited player.
The extra weight this year seems to have had a real impact on his pace. Personally I've always questioned his attitude a bit too.

Seems to have lost his really hard running for some reason. Used to run great distances to get on the end of it. Not so much anymore.

That could be due to knowing he's on the way out. Which is understandable. Too one sided and can't kick long enough for me. He did a good job when we were a poor side and pushing to be mid range, now we are pushing to be a good side not up to it IMO.

I think that is the most likely explanation. He doesn't look injured.
