Robin Nahas

Yep, as much as I shook my head over the past three years with our midget brigade with the likes of King, Nahas, Edwards and Nason in the one side, they were swarming tonight. Awsome to watch.

BOG for mine,

BUT - was he injured in the last - or cramping up?

Clearly distressed - could hardly break into a jog.

I'm hoping only a cramp - totally understandable after the awesome game he put in :clap

His tackling pressure is second to none :clap

Noticed that too....wouldn't surprise me if he was just physically exhausted. Was running up and down the ground ALL night!

Top game tonight from Robbie. Worked really hard and provided a lot of drive and 3 goals were the icing.

But he fumbles the ball too much and will get found out against top teams if he doesn't clean that up.

He got a corkie in the hip.......came back on then got a knock in the hip again....couldn't freely run after that.

Took a couple of knocks to the hip. Doesn't sound too serious but obviously caused discomfort.

Yep, played a beautiful game today – loved his dummy – so large and elaborate given his smallness.

The difference was he kept his feet all night, and didn't fumble as much.

He's always been a hard worker, but tonight was incredible. He was everywhere.

Love the effort and intensity from our team at the moment. It's always been a bugbear for me, but finally it seems we're spreading well from contests, chasing, tackling and presenting options for our ball carriers. Nahas is leading the way - lets hope he keeps it up :)

I spoke with Robbie last year and he was as fla=t as a pancake. Nothing was going right and probably believed he'd be delisted at years end..

What the hell happened?!? :D

Didn't see his last 2 weeks coming. I know he's had some groin issues over the last few years, maybe he's getting over it. I thought it was the best game he ever played last week, this week better. He had to have these games too because can't have midfielders averaging 12 touches a game. Hopefully this continues.

struggled last year with groin injuries. he is the spark plug that ignites us. really important in the 3rd when brisbane were all over us.

You spoke to him! :)

Robbie looked absolutely faaacked in the last quarter. Sheer effort I'm sure. Also getting knocked twice as mentioned above. Very happy to see such an honest hard working effort.

Also put his head in dangerous spots a couple of times tonight. Brave.

I think these small players of ours are tougher / more accountable than what we've been used to.

He got injured in the last quarter. He couldn't move ,couldn't kick(you'll recall the hand pass he gave to Newy after taking the mark)..... touch and go for next week
